Latest Check-Ins

As said before: nice setting in well maintained garden-like surroundings … but:
- it is almost impossible to level a vehicle, the slope is too steep (and it is very tight to get in with a big rig)
- the owners have a peculiar style of hospitality, eg: as there was only one other couple there, the owner obliged us to share the warm water (ie shower) as she considered it too expensive to run two geysers … and this at R190 ppn
Regrettably, there are virtually no alternatives …

The good, stunning views, clean and friendly service.
It is on the main road, but it didn't bother us. But it wasn't a busy weekend.
The bad, very sloping (uneven at best) campground. Wood for sale was below par for the price.

way to overpriced for what you get. they charge you 180 pppn.

campsite is totally uneven and you will not find a spot to pitch your tent or rooftop tent properly. moreover directly next to the main road that is noisier than one would think with the speedbumps. owner unfriendly after we mentioned that his prices are rather top notch and only one abolution with warm water, we had to walk up the hill and use our neighbour's one because it was too expensive for the lady to heat our geyser as well. abolution blocks have good water pressure but look old.no lights in the scullery in the back. we stayed the second night somewhere else.

Still ZAR160 pppn. Good friendly, down to earth service. Everything neat and in a lovely location with nice views around. Pitches not that flat so chocks are useful or use the ones here if available. Self catering cottage and glamping facilities available - prices on request. Look out for the Cape Parrot only found in this area early morning and evenings. Keep food tucked away from wandering monkeys.

Lovely for a family. Campsite suitable for a caravan. There is a lovely, big indoors kitchen/entertainment area for the use of campers. Clean showers & toilets. No bath. Big garden with jungle gym for kids. Cost R160 per person older than 3. Highly recommended place!

Report Check-In

Everything as said before, but we paid 320,- which makes it to one of the most expensive campsites so far. Laundry available for 50,-.
