Latest Check-Ins

We asked locals and the place is called "Juntas del Concá". Gmaps show this name also! The car or truck entrance is M$40 for day parking only. We were asked for additional M$50 to camp overnight. Looks like this is the fee for weekends and holidays, they don't charge otherwise. The place has everything as described, palapas, BBQ area, big grassy space, restaurant, toilets etc. Police passed by several times during the day. At night entrance was closed. Some tents were at the place with fires, we also BBQ. On Sunday there was loud music all day "rancheras" but locals left soon in the evening, before sunset and then was really quiet. There are some bugs, don't forget repellent. Is a nice pace to spend the night.

Report Check-In

Campground with large, grassy area with concrete palapas with BBQ for tents and a large parking area for camping vans, RVs, etc...near the bridge. Bathrooms were OK (with flush toilets). There's a restaurant (very basic food and cold beer) and a small store. The river was shallow when we were there but still refreshing. We were there the day after the Semana Santa holiday and arrived ~8pm. There were a few people enjoying the river but everyone left at dark and we had the campground to ourselves at night. There was little traffic at night so it was mostly quiet at the tent camping area. No one came to collect the fee for camping (50 pesos/person) so it was free for us.
