Gets the job done. Lot was pretty full when I got there at 8pm but when I woke up it was virtually empty. Busy area, loud from highway and bar hoppers, but I had no problems and was not bothered.
Report Check-InStreet parking adjacent to the police station (8p-7a). Spoke to officer and he was welcoming. Watch for signage on nearby streets indicating it is allowed. Other ioverlander had shared a map. Harborside “boardwalk” parking was full of transient people walking around late so we opted for a more safe environment.
Report Check-InHarbor freight parking lot
Level, some traffic but quieted down by 10
2 bars TMobile
Spent the night with no issues. 12 hour parking allowed. Plenty of spots. 1-2 bars LTE AT&T.
Report Check-InDecent place to park for the night. Mid-sized parking lot with lots of other cars parked overnight. On the main road and just a block from the boardwalk and bathrooms. Felt relatively safe and was quiet.
Report Check-Inas described. Hard to find anything else and are comfortable here. it’s two bars AT&T now. It was Saturday night and a bit noisy. We survived .
Report Check-InAs described, plenty of space the night we were here, van fit easily. Maybe the noisiest place we’ve stayed with road noise but was great for the night
Report Check-InThe spot is really nice and I did stay a little bit longer than 12 hours as a sign said with no problem there’s a lot of noise from the highway but it has a nice spot where your dog can go and decent three or four bars for Verizon users so no bathroom and air in the air except for coffee shop but super nice and I recommend
Report Check-InStayed one night. There was a little bit of road noise. No one bothered us.
Report Check-InFelt great to park overnight in a parking lot that was explicitly free and 12 hours
Report Check-InSmall lot near sheriff, very noisy, a lot of people coming and going at all hours. There are tons of lots in the area, drive around! Hard to see them when it is dark out. No one actually bothered me, just didn’t exactly feel safe as a single. Would not stay in this spot again.
Report Check-InStill free 12 hour public parking. Regular parking lot with regular sized spaces, we had to park sideways in our rv.
Report Check-InSafe and quiet. Had a good night's sleep! No amenities so take care of everything before you go to sleep.
Report Check-InNice and quiet part of town. Coffeeshop and Italian restaurant just up the street.
Report Check-InSpent the night here last night and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Woke up to birds singing and sunlight lit up this tiny port or oyster boats. So happy I stayed here. No one bothered me. Just an over night spot and please put up any trash you can.!
Report Check-InAs described- municipal parking lot (~20 spaces) tucked between buildings. Seems like a lot that locals park in for daily work.
Couple of cars parked overnight, we were the only ones that stayed in our vehicle. Pretty quiet - 101 is directly behind the lot, but its not too loud due to the speed limit being lower as it passes through North Bend. Nobody bothered us. Definitely a good spot, given that the rest of this area seems to be hard to find free overnight places.
