Description
One of the cheaper places to stay in Dar. Dorms are 18 USD pppn including good breakfast. There's also private rooms for a bit more.
All rooms have proper working AC and good WiFi. Every bed has power outlets, and lockers available. Breakfast is usually toast with jam, peanut butter, fried eggs, fresh fruits and proper filter coffee.
Clean, friendly, good vibe, Big pool and rooftop terrace with ice cold beers, water and soda. A variety of dinners available for 4USD every night, also vegetarian dishes.
It's close to many of the embassies if you plan on getting visas. They can also store motorcycle for some time if you plan on going to Zanzibar or elsewhere for some time. Uber is always a minute away, and cheaper than normal taxies.

we wanted to stay there but they didn't allow us to park the car inside, so we had to leave.
This place is definitely open! May have looked closed because the pool is out of service. Nice dorm rooms with a simple but delicious breakfast included. Currently offering a discount because of the pool.
Report Check-InThis is a typical backpackers place and quite expensive for what you get. Dorm room is 18$ pppn incl. An okay breakfast. There is a swimmingpool on the ground floor which isn’t looking that clean and the roof terrace is nothing special. They have wifi which has an above average speed.
They do allow to park your car and camp here, but this will be on the paved parking lot and they only have 1 spot. Price is 10$ pppn incl breakfast. You can leave your car behind when you go to Zanzibar for 5$ pn which is okay.
Due to lack of better alternatives in Dar itself probably your best option unfortunately.
Report Check-InReally nice place and friendly staff. We were allowed to camp on the parking lot for 5 USD ppn + 5 USD parking for the car. Toilets and showers are directly next to the parking and swimming pool - hot showers and clean. There are even sinks for doing the dishes. They offer a really nice breakfast at the rooftop terrace for 2,50 USD.
We parked our car here for one week when we were in Zanzibar and payed 5 USD per day. Really friendly staff, secure and relaxed atmosphere. Recommended.
