Latest Check-Ins

I didn't stay here, but I stopped and walked my dog. There's some pretty cool trees on the trail. There's no longer a "no overnight camping" sign posted anywhere (or even a post where the sign world have been), though can't say if it's allowed or not.

Report Check-In

Sad to say there now is a very new looking no overnight sign. We decided to move on. Lots of turn offs to be had on this wooded bit of the 1

There is now a no-overnight parking sign in the parking lot. Ate a late lunch here. It was kinda trashed but otherwise a very pretty spot.

awesome place for a night, gravel lot was full of large potholes be careful at night, Porta Potty felt like the floor might cave in in the middle, but it smelled like air fresheners.

Beautiful place, the trail takes you to the river where there is natural pool with clear water and running. Do not miss it

Report Check-In

Picnic area with a portable toilet, one bench/table. Close to the road so a bit of trafficnoise. I tentcamped there one night but the ground was full of stones so really hard to get the tent pegs down, tried several places and was only able to get some of the pegs well down into the ground. A fair place if no other option nearby, but nothing I would aim for from far away...

Report Check-In

A really ugly place. We didn't stay there.

Great little place, secluded from the road so nice and peaceful. There was one other camper here overnight. Portable toilet ok but was full of trash and empty beer bottles. No prohibited signs. Please help keep it clean and open by packing out your trash.

Picnic area with hardly no ameneties. One septic portable toilet booth and one picnic table. It looks a bit shabby, but between some redwood trees in the forest and a bit further away from the road, than all the other pullout options along the coast a pretty decent overnight spot. No No Signs. Easy access for all rigs. Look beyond the picnic table where you will meet a famous tree and find a few spots at the little stream, perfect for pitching your tent. Only a very short distance from the parking and also easy reachable with your (motor)bike.
