Don’t know how much longer they’ll allow campers. This was our third time here and each visit gets harder. This time they wanted 120 Soles to camp. When we told them we paid 40 the last time, they went down to 40. Then they didn’t want use to use any wifi, bathrooms or even hose shower. We told them we were leaving, then they said ok to showers and bathroom, but no wifi. We had good cell with Claro so we stayed. The last visits we were treated OK. This visit they were sort of hostile. Kind of strange since the hotel parking lot was empty anyways..

We wanted to camp here but spot is close to a generator and the road is also nearby. Not the most beautiful spot to camp. Rooms are very clean so instead we took a room. You can bargain about the price.

We were really looking forward to stay a few days here after crossing into Peru from Ecuador to relax, but somehow the vibe didn't work out. when we arrived, they wanted 50 soles per night, even though people just paid 40 a week ago. When we mentioned that and started looking on iOverlander for alternatives, she suddenly offered 40 if we would stay more than one day, so we agreed. But even though we ate at their restaurant (delicious, but pricy), we always felt like second class guests and the owner seemed to not speak to us on purpose (he did feel inclined to greet back when we greeted him, but that was it).

The hotel is nice and the location excellent for surfing, but we left after 3 days because we couldn't stand it anymore.

By the way, the restaurant does offer a menu del día for 40 soles, which is reasonable (it was ceviche + a main plate + a lemonade) will you would pay 40 even for a starter dish already.

Maybe we got cought on the wrong food and you have more luck staying here. It has a lot of potential to be a great stay.

WiFi was good when it worked, but it dropped out a whole day and even cell service seems overloaded in Mancora (constant multi second drops).

Nice place to stay for one or several nights. Restaurant with fantastic view on the ocean. The facilities As described before. She wanted 50S for a night and 2 people. We agreed with 40 and had dinner at the restaurant.

Report Check-In

We loved this place and in our opinion it is the best place to stay in Mancora. Very well situated about a 3 minute walk into town, close to good restaurants and it's quieter up this end of town. Nice shady parking lot. The restaurant on the beach serves great food and its a nice place to sit and watch the ocean. The pool is really nice too.
Price is 40 per night but it's negotiable if you stay for a few nights or more. Nice people working here. We stayed for 10 days waiting for mail to arrive and really enjoyed it!

Report Check-In

Quiet location at the south end of Mancora. Level parking. 40 soles for 2+vehicle. Bathroom with shower looks decent. Easy walk into town for shopping. Nice looking pool (which we did not use). Not much noise on a Saturday night,

Now S/40 per vehicle. We stopped by but didn’t stay, was too expensive for what was on offer. Stayed at the free beach camp in Organos instead.

Report Check-In

30 soles per vehicle. Loved this place. Clean, lovely grounds, nice pool. Great level parking, electric hookup. Short walk to town along beach. Prices in town are more expensive, so stock up because you won't want to leave. Can rent surfboards, and get lessons, yoga classes on site. Nice sand beach area to left, hang by the pool, or relax in the lounge area right next to the sea. Best spot in the area.

Report Check-In
