A newer fancier restaurant opened up in this location and were not very welcoming to us camping here for the night even after mentioning its a common over-landing spot and we would eat at their restaurant. They were concerned we would take up too much parking for other patrons. If you have a small rig, you can try to park in-front of the other Mexican restaurants, which were much friendlier and welcomed overnighters.

Salvador and Fili were very friendly. We had some beers in their restaurant and spent 1 night In the parking lot. You can see both sunrise and sunset from the beach. Very quiet night and felt safe.

What a paradise :) the little restaurant el cangrejo is definitely the nicest spot they build a brand new restaurant with bathrooms and showers the food is good the beer really cold and the family is one of the sweetest I have met in 2 years in Mexico! They let you park for free help with everything you can imagine and always with a smile. Only “bad” thing no shade for the rig but with the sea breeze it’s fine. I slept like a baby to the sound of the waves.

Stayed in the area opposite the small tienda. Used one of the local restuarants parking spots and bought dinner. The owners were happy for me to park and use their facilities. The one i chose even had a small kitchen at the front so was perfect. Bought wifi from the shop across the road (25 pesos) Good signal. Locals said area was very safe. No problems. A nicer option than the more busy towns around. Beach is extremely nice.

As described nice place and nice owner of the restaurant. He came to welcome us and offered us water to shower. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat at his restaurant since they are not open for dinner in low season, for day tourists only. We arrived on a Sunday evening and it was quiet busy but not loud. Everybody left at night and we had a quiet night alone. Police drives by every night just to make sure the area is safe but didn’t talk to us. The ocean was very rough but there are lots of rocks where you can find nice pools in between to soak. No campfire allowed on the beach but at the parking lot it’s okay.
