We stopped for a little break from the wind and rain. Ivan kindly welcomed us, and pretty quickly offered to let us sleep there. We thanked him but pedalled on. Filled up on water.

We stopped on the way to El Calafate after sleeping in the pink house. We got coffee and torta frita and when we wanted to leave got homemade cake to go.
There is also free wifi.
Super nice people here, I definitely would recommend to stop here!

Consider this as an emergency stop if you, like me, leave the pink house behind, thinking I would make it to the Lago Argentina. The wind was suddenly to dangerous to continue so I decided to ask Oskar for a place to sleep. The garage (as mentioned) is an open but we'll protected shed. it's dusty and you won't be able to put any pegs in the ground. there were to puppies running around, making the place even dustier and yes, the generator kept running until late at night. I am still very happy for Oskars help. His wife and daughter are lovely as well. you might be allowed to park a motorhome here as well, if needed. The view is not that bad ;-) there is also a water tab in the shed/garage.

Oscar is very nice. He offered us an indoor space to set up the tent and hot water for some te o Mate. The generator is a bit noisy but then you sleep peacefully.

En este pueblo de vialidad se puede acampar bajo el techo del garaje, se puede usar el agua y el baño, Óscar y su familia son muy amigables, sin embargo, parece que esto varía según la persona que se encuentra a cargo. Por suerte, nosotros encontramos a oscar

very friendly people, Oscar and hia wife, they allowed me to sleep int the garage. There is a smol cute dog, but it can eat your tent, so be carefull ☺ If you are light sleeper it is bot the best place for you cause the agregat is very noisy and it is working till midnight, so consider that fact if you decidw to stay there. Even yearplugs can not help.
