Very nice place with a fabulous view. There were some visitors in the evening for the sunset and also in the morning for the sunrise due to a very nice weather.
Report Check-InCamped here last night. Excellent views in all directions and great weather. A few walkers and cyclists before 10pm/after 7am but all friendly and stopped for a chat. Just enough flat grass for the tent and a decent picnic table too! Glad I camped here.
Report Check-InI am so blessed to stop here, mid September and it's red hot,no wind it's a gift,it's mid afternoon and nobody here.I would imagine this location could get wild in bad weather because you are in top of a hill.Spot the red van.
Report Check-InA lovely place to stop overnight on the top of a hill called "the cats back" this is a flat bit of ground used for parking when locals walk their dogs well away from any traffic and looks onto a lovely Victorian spa village reputed to have healing waters. You can walk down to this (2miles) by taking the farm track to the right. Don't miss the standing stones on the way down. When you get to the main road turn right. The overnight stop is about 200m off the road up a farm track and would be ok for most size motorhome as (ours is 7.2m long). Please don't empty your waist here as it's my local walking area and don't want to come across your rubbish.
