Grocery store is open 24h, bathrooms inside and WiFi, the Roswell UFO international museum(has free wifi) and all ufo related shops are 3 miles from here on main road, there is plenty of parking also there.

Report Check-InNice Walmart, stayed on the north side by the big open field next to one of the division islands in the lot. quiet night, felt safe. good wifi with the wifi extender even in the back of the lot. Chinese food smell was tempting 😁

Report Check-InWe stayed 2 nights - 1st night on the Walmart side was a bit loud until after the store closed. Seemed like a place for car clubs to hang out with loud cars. 2nd night on Sam’s club side was much quieter.
Report Check-InFine place to stay, but the street cleaner started doing laps around the lot at midnight. It was pretty loud and took about 30 min. other than that it was decent.

it is what it is... Walmart parking lot. decent Internet on T mobile. lots of campers and vans parked here.
Report Check-InStayed here two nights while I explored Roswell. Felt safe, there were several other vans & RVs when I stayed. Gets a bit loud because more than half the town closes around 5/6 & there’s nothing else to do but to speed around the parking lot & blast music.
Report Check-InRolled in at 5 after a day starting with a starter problem. This beast is 25 years old. God bless it. By the time we left Eunice New Mexico we were too late to go to Carlsbad caverns apparently they close at 230 on Saturday. Here we are in Roswell. Cool place. The Walmart has great wifi. Tomorrow we are taking in the town proper, buying T-shirt, doing the tourist…it is surprisingly big and full of anything you may need. Highly recommend it.
Report Check-InStayed overnight along with some other vans and RV’s over on the side towards Sam’s club. (The store closed at 11pm). There was some noise when the employees came out to get carts and trash (they were having fun lol) and other than that is was a chill quiet place for a quick overnight.

Report Check-InNice parking lot. Saw about 3 campers, tons of other cars stayed overnight. Don’t think the Walmart is 24 hours but it didn’t seem to matter.
Cops were in the parking lot but didn’t bother us. Cute cat & her kitten roamed the lot.
Would recommend if in a pinch.
If you’re looking for a bathroom.....the Walmart and no other stores within walking distance of this parking lot are 24 hours as of December 2020. This could be COVID related. Safe and quiet though!

Report Check-InWas a fairly quiet night with only a big rig parked nearby, but a group of people with motorcycles and loud engine cars came and gathered about 30 feet away from the park up. Decided to move partway through the night. Other than that, it would have been a good spot. Would give it another shot if I passed through again

NOTE: There are signs specifically for RV parking (1st time I've seen this) pics attached. first sign says "Tractor/Trailer RV parking this side of sidewalk". Other sign says "RV parking area first 10 spaces beyond this point"
Quiet night. Many rv's were parked for the night. Store and toilets are open 24h. Close to Roswell city center with the ufo museum. We highly recommend eating a burger at Big D's Downtown Dive because they're unbelievably delicious

Busy but good place to stay. Even with all the reviews we checked inside to make sure overnight parking was allowed. They just asked us to stay the at the back and towards the sams club. Walking distance to some restaurants. Several other campers in the lot. Good nights rest.
