Description

Great wild camping spot right next to Unidad Deportivo - a large public multi sport facility that is locked at night. If you have kids it's a great place for you all to run and play, including skateboard parks. We backed up to the facility and had a sidewalk to have coffee out in the morning.

Quiet at night although we were there the week before Christmas and they have street parties. Great fun and they love you to join in.

Centro (el Parian de tlaquepaque) is about a ten minute walk. Beautiful place to hear mariachi and eat street food - vendors surround the parque. Also lots of restaurants and and lively bar scene at one end of the pedestrian mall.

We were here Friday and Saturday night. On Sunday morning we drove ten minutes to lienzo "Charros de Jalisco" - stadium for rodeos that start at noon. Lots of parking at the front of you get there early (see location). Then at night you could go to the Mexican wrestling which is Sunday's at six pm. Also nearby lienzo is parque Agua Azul.

Latest Check-Ins

I stayed for one Friday night, it was all good and quiet

Report Check-In

stayed here during the night. when I first swung by here around noon, it was very busy. you could hardly find the spot. later in the evening after dark came back to check out, tge street was empty. checked with a kid walking to see if it was okay. no problems. set up my RTT and even took a shower in outside shower cube. No problem. The night was very quiet. I had no experience leaving the car here but the neighborhood looks okay.

Report Check-In

We stopped here but the police officer told us he did not recommend staying. There had been several violent crimes within the month. The parking is not enclosed, it is directly in front of police station but still street parking.

Report Check-In

Good place just at the front of a police station, they were very nice guys. Seems safe, and rather quiet for a spot in the city. We put our table outside on the place. We were two bigs trucks, very manageable for big RVs (30 feet and 3m60 high).

Still there...nice quiet place for sleep for free close of centro Tlaquepaque
