MODERATOR NOTE: Place removed because camping is illegal here. Signs posted and enforced
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Got evicted with 2 others at 10:30pm. Rangers were very polite but said we had to go.
Report Check-InNow there's a nice "No Camping" sign, to help make Murica just a lil more of a "free country". We probably would have still stayed, but we opted to keep driving north to very end (lighthouse spot) that looked to (and did) have a much better view and isolation. Way to go Murica
Report Check-InThere is a sign on the highway just before this spot saying no roadside camping for the next 15 miles. There is also a sign as you drive in saying no camping.
Report Check-InVery large gravel lot right off the highway. Surrounded by trees. Small area w ocean view.
There is a picnic table too. No facilities, trash, or water.
We were not bothered overnight. Got there around 7pm. One other camper truck. The trees make a good sound break from the highway, and you can hear the ocean waves. Good for a night, especially after a day in the areas rainforest parks.
Large gravel parking area between the mainroad and the coast. Tree surrounded. No No Signs. No signs at all. You're not visible from the mainroad. Coast access not possible. But you have your view. No amenities.
