Adventurous steep road up here, but we made it in 2WD front wheel.

Price says 250L/person. We got it for 150L/person after telling him it's too much.

Camping area is ok, facilities are a bit run down and not clean. For the 250L price, facilities are really bad

the hikes in the park are great, nice cold waterfall. we saw tucans, motmots and coatis

After driving all the way up here on mostly crappy roads ( 28min drive in) we opted NoT to stay. The posted rates were crazy expensive. - see photo.
250L pp to camp plus 180 L pp just to enter the park. Perhaps you can negotiate a better rate but we opted to have a swim at the “KAYAK” spot just up the road ( free) then go camp at the brewery

We really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff, neat and well maintained. We are 11 feet tall with a 9 inch AC. We swerved around some low power lines but it was fine. 7 km off the main highway. Asked for a discount so paid 140 L per person per night. The camping area is at the end of the road and really private. We were the only ones there Sun & Mon night. Trails are nice. Cools off in evening so we slept well. Spigot to fill tanks. Be sure to walk behind the restaurant to a lawn with hummingbird feeders. Great photo ops there. You will see plenty of toucans here!

Lovely area, better then the wild camping (that was a zoo/holiday).
The downfall is no dogs on trails, even leashed BUT they allowed us to camp and it was nice.
Lovely place to explore and hike, falls etc but not with dogs (we ran our dogs back down road to hwy).
Would recommend, one of the more expensive places as you pay fee to be there and added fee to camp. Was late in day and so could not be bothered to drive on.
Plus, it is lovely area for sure

We had a great stay here as two women, two dogs, and a cat. Nice shade, they let us park higher up because tent camping was a bit full from a tour. Lovely temps, no bugs, and fabulous hiking the next day!

I had an unfortunately unpleasant experience here solo moto camping. The lodge and park is as described, beautiful, quiet nature. There is a short waterfall trail right by the camping area, and a long probably half-day hike up into the cloud forest. There is also a hummingbird feeder station at the restaurant where you can watch 3 species of hummingbirds! The camping area is a large flat lawn, with a fire pit, and a covered area for tents (there was a permanent/abandoned tent in this spot.) I arrived, setup, did a hike & had a lovely dinner over the campfire while watching the fireflies.

Now for the bad: while I was at my campfire (around 8pm) a young local man came over and sat down uninvited. He was shirtless, and probably a bit drunk, though hard to say based on the language barrier. He started very aggressively flirting with me, saying he wanted to get to know me, etc. I kept telling him that I was not interested, that I was here to enjoy nature and quiet by myself, etc. It got especially disturbing when he told me that he is one of the soldiers stationed here and guards the entrance to the park (there is a military booth when you enter). It made me extremely uncomfortable because I was alone, and this person was supposedly there to keep me “safe” but instead was intruding on my space and could be armed/etc. Eventually I had to leave my bonfire and go hide in my tent. But since there was no one else around, this felt pretty sketchy to be honest. Luckily it started pouring down rain, and he never came to bother me after that but I certainly didn’t sleep great. Left after 1 night when I had wanted to stay longer because the area is so pretty. So I would recommend this spot to people traveling in pairs or by camper, but I would not recommend it to solo female tent travelers based on my experience. Which is too bad, this is the only time something like this has happened to me camping alone throughout the US & Mexico/Central America.

Beautiful place we spent 5 days, totally familiar, clean toilets and bathrooms, wifi, perfect! Great team everyone very excited to receive Traveler’s, amazing views and great water falls. Highly recommended.

Driving in sign says 250L camping pp but the lady asked for 200. I said it was a lot and she said she'd take off 10% immediately so we paid 360L for two people and the van total.

The long hike was nice and we brought our dog and cat! (cat goes in a backpack carrier when he doesn't want to walk)

also a man said he would light a campfire for us at the restaurant if we wanted to hang out and use the wifi there. we had cell reception enough to upload some YouTube thumbnails.

I do agree with all the past posts and would like to add some info.

Recepcionist asked how many nights we come for and when answering 2-3 he offered us without asking 100lps pn pp. (instead of 150lps pn pp).

Latino Campers came in 3 groups, 4 persons each on Saturday night after sunset to stay one night. They didn't play boom boom music and were rather ok to 'camp' with. If your neighbours do party stuff you can tell them not to and in my experience they do obey. Loud talking and calling each other you won't get out of their system. Only rain can take care of this.

Rain at 22:00 made them all move their tents under the palapa.

End of october it rained heavily all three nights around 21:00.

Water at campground was potable. We drank it.

Beautiful (actually) quiet camp in a National Park. We have kind of a bad luck to be all the time with a bunch of students in a National Park. But when they left it was truly peaceful.
We did the Senai Trai ( 5,1 km) who is pretty steep but beautiful with lots of birds and huge butterflies. Lots of hummingbirds around the terrace of the restaurant. Official entrance to the park is 150,- Lempiras p.P. but you can negotiate, we paid 500 for 2 persons for 2 nights. Great place!

Loved this spot! Large, dry (when we were there) grassy area for camping with clean bathrooms and showers, as well as a covered area with picnic tables. We were the only ones there on a Friday night. The hikes are really nice with beautiful views! We paid 150L per person.

As described. Parking lot is a bit muddy and soft, but able to find firm ground. Nice place to stay a couple of nights. Road is passable with any vehicle (no issues with height or terrain)

We stayed 4 nights. We visited the waterfall you can swim under a couple times as it's a short walk from camp. We visited the bird towers in the early morning and saw two types of Tucans. This place was busy on the weekend, but we just waited tell Monday to do the kayak trip and Tuesday to do the big loop hike which took us 5 hours. We stoped a long time at the waterfall on the hike to eat lunch, and near the end under a bridge there was an epic swimming hole we couldn't pass up. This place is really beautiful.

This place is so nice! We could park on a big gras field with a palapa and clean toilets and showers (cold). We saw a lot of birds on site. The trails are well maintained and are a good experience. We payed 300 Lempiras for overnight.

We came with rain in a Vanagon and we didn't have any problem to get there. We arrived at 6 pm and asked to the guard in the main entrance if we could park around there overnight. He told us to park in the clients parking and we didn't pay anything but also we didn't use the facilities of the hotel

Road here was not bad; gravel and steep sections sure that might be tough in the rain but much if road has concrete on it. Our 26' rig had no issues with curves in the road. Park is lovely and quiet. we paid 300L per night for two with power. Wi-Fi works at reception area. Tigo service in and out. clean bathrooms at camping area with seats and TP.

I've camped here several times in a 19' rig. Beautiful campsite. Staff are really friendly. Toilets and cold showers. Shelter area if it rains. Road up is not too difficult. School buses come up all the time. Great hiking trails. Restaurant serves adequate food.

This place is great. I arrived on a Monday, stayed for two nights and saw only one family come for a day hike. The grounds are beautiful. The main mountain hike takes about four hours and is well worth the sweat.

Really nice place! Very tranquil, sweet waterfalls and nice hiking trail. Restaurant is relatively good-not great and a bit on the expensive side but we ate there a few times. You definitely do not need any sort of 4wd to get here unless maybe intense rainy season or some other extreme circumstance. Access is via a very well maintained gravel road or pavement the entire way. Steep I guess but every type of car was in the parking lot from Bmw sedan to 40 ft school bus. 4wd recommendations are ridiculous, don't let it deter you (in our experience;)

Highly recommended campground in Honduras - wish we could have stayed several days. Many hikes with more than one waterfall. 300 lempiras for park entry & camping. Covered picnic area, electricity, showers, flush toilets, wifi available at the lodge. Rough road to get up into the park, but likely could be done without 4x4.

Absolutely wonderful place. Great campsite with shower worthy waterfall within a 10 min walk (they also have showers). Cloud forest hike is amazing! It was 300limp for entry and camping for 2 people and 2 dogs.
