7km from the main entrance, next to the old ranger office (no longer in use). Great place to stay overnight at no cost, despite being from the road that gives access to the other canyons, the night is very quiet. few people and trail easy access to the Canyon Indio Crowned. Great dawn with immeasurable view and spectacle of nature. View of the balloons of the City of Praia Grande / SC, on clean days. Without toilets, the night the fog is very strong, it is Roots, but I recommend it to those who are root camper. ---
Ótimo local para pernoitar sem custo nenhum, apesar de estar da estrada que dá acesso aos demais canyons, a noite fica bem calma. poucas pessoas e trilha de fácil acesso ao canyon Indio Coroado. Ótimo amanhecer com vista imensurável e espetáculo da natureza.Vista dos balões da Cidade de Praia Grande/SC, nos dias limpo. Sem banheiros, a noite a neblina é muito forte, é Roots, mas recomendo pra quem é campista raiz.

Report Check-InEm qualquer lugar próximo a está casa, pode-se acampar, desde que fora dos limites do Parque Nacional. Caso contrário, tem multa - se você for pego. A casa estava em obras, portanto, há a possibilidade de alguém estar cuidando on local agora.

Report Check-InVery good, the ranger house is abandoned and it could be a good option for backpackers and bikers too. We slept here, it was quite at night. AT the day sometimes is a little busy because, just at the other side of the fence behind the house you can go to Canyon Indios Coroados, totally recommended, short distance, easy trekking, beautiful panoramic view, and just few people.
