Good campground with plenty of spots. If using RTT be sure and bring something to level your rig. Showers, toilets, and sinks available. Gate opens at 7a and close at 9p.

There is an outdoor shooting range in the Uwharrie National Forest across the lake as well as OHV trails. I was woken up at first light to what sounded like a battle had broken out with soldiers on dirt bikes.
Most of the services have since closed down at morrow mountain state park due to extensive renovations.
