Dispersed camping on Gandy Creek. Alongside road so can get busy but pretty rushing creek. No facilities.

Absolutely gorgeous. Came on a weekday in Autumn. Beautiful colors, fell asleep under the Milky Way to the babbling brook. Road is fairly smooth coming in, pretty busy but we got a spot that pulls off just after the dispersed camping sign.
Report Check-InFree camping. Can get busy on weekends. Must park along road but campsites are generally off of the road 30 to 50 yards. Some less, a few more. Couple pull offs for truck campers off the road. Several trailheads to hike. Trout fishing is stocked trout. Gravel road. Very dusty when dry.

Report Check-InI recommend driving further down the road to more private sites that are a bit off the main road. The road is well maintained and a good drive. About two miles down you'll see a footbridge over the creek - turn in on the left after you see it and you'll find a great private trailhead and an even better tent spot across the river.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Very wet but easy access via mostly paved roads. The gravel part is well maintained. Hiking trails in the area. Easy stream access and fire pits.
