Many spaces to park. Many cars and trucks during the day, but after sunset there is much less circulation, so we spent a good night.
There is a water tap next to the restaurant, and dust bins next to the police station.

Recommend! Safe! Police 24 hours. A lounge area with fast wifi and a welcoming tea, cosy spot. The worker loves travelers and got us to write a note in the visitors book. Clean toilets and a big carpark directly across road. Powerpoint to charge devices inside. People stop here to have a rest for an hour and refresh too. No problems with police, they were friendly to us.

Control policial y estación de peaje, excelente lugar para acampar en la vía a Cusco o Nazca, hay baños super limpios con papel, jabón y papel toalla 😀 las 24 horas. también cuentan con una sala para descansar con sofás mesas y WiFi. Hay una playita en lado opueto de los baños dónde el policía de turno no pidió estacionar porque allí hay luz y ellos pueden verte para mayor seguridad.

Very friendly staff, asked us to park near the toll booth, rather than further down the road. Spent the nice with a police car parked 2 meters in front of us! Clean facilities, with staff that seemed very happy to have us camping here.

great place! as previously stated, clean toilets with paper and soap! Really rare! super friendly. the diesel generator runs through the night and vehicles passing but it was super OK :)

Still a nice place to stop. You're right next to the road, but they have all the facilities you might need, including wifi. Clean restrooms with soap, 24 hour security, space for any kind of rig, and super friendly staff. All free. They even offered to let us use the kitchen.

Good place to spend the night (free). Safe as they have security for the tolls. Toilets are super clean. Gets very cold at night -0. (van was covered in frost/ice in the morning and we had problems getting it started). Surrounded by llamas and cows.
Restaurant nearby is run by a lovely man who has meals for around 9/s and coca tea for 1/s.

It's a good place to pass the night. Is very safety. It's a little noise because is near the road. But it's a very good bathroom, very clean. We sleep well!

Not sure what a 'maut.' is but right next to the peaje/toll there's a little area where you can pull over and sleep. Very secure! Super friendly staff. Open 24/7 and very clean bathrooms. There's a little restaurant in walking distance too but we didn't go. There's a spot for larger vehicles a little down the road.

We parked here,behind a stone wall which was safe enough because there is 24/7 police. Restraunt across the street with toilets and a field of llamas. Rght next to road so was noisy during nght also very cold at night.

There was a sign at this pay station saying the road is only open for specific hours each day due to road construction. April to July 2015. 12-1pm was ok. We got lucky. Around 3pm again, and there were a couple of times listed in the morning around 10am and earlier. Couldn't read all of it.

parking next to the maut. on 3'700 meter. some traffic in the night. nice staff. open 24/7. clean toilets.
