Something not right?

Description

A fantastic place up on the mountains, relaxed and with little to no noise other than nature. The bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day, and the shower water is warm - takes one hour to warm up, ask first.

You have little huts available or a place for your tent. We paid 50tl for 2 people in our own tent. Small parking space, perfect for our motorcycles, maybe not perfect for campers.

The owners don't speak English, but they are beyond friendly and made our 4 night stay here fantastic and welcoming.

They also serve food, although you can pitch a fire and cook yourself. The nearest city with markets is Macka, 9kms away.

Highly recommended!

Livera Kamping is open, but over the current Islamic holidays I was unlucky. After riding up the steep and narrow road, the last 3 km on dirt, sometimes rocky, sometimes washed out, the owner offered me to pitch a tent in their 'picknick area' above the actual campsite without any facilities or shade. The camping was fully booked, he said, although, imho, lots of spots for my tent would have been available. With rain coming the next day, I decided to stay down in the valley at Verizana Restaurant & Camping, which was a good decision.
When you drive up there, don't rely on the routing by Google Maps. There are plenty of sings by Livana Kaming on all the important turns. Still, the last 3 km is on washed out dirt with some steep hairpins, I was glad it was a sunny day, and the track was dry. Google has the location slightly wrong, the camping is about 300m beyond and down an access road.

I tried to stay at this camping but the owner claimed that it was booked by a big group for an event. He recommended to always check by phone or WhatsApp before attempting to reach the camping. I was disappointed because it took a long drive on a bad road to get there, and then be turned back.
Anyway, the place looks very nice.

Fantastic place high up in the mountains. Difficult for big rigs but our Landy made it up the winding road just fine. Hut or tent camping, RTT users would have to park in a nearby field. Eccentric owner works nonstop to keep it clean.

Camping full up during the (probably) busiest time of year. Stayed 3 days in separate open area next to turn off from road—60m up from toilets/showers. Grassy area, mostly not flat., but not too bad. Ablutions kept clean even with crowded condition of campsite. Staff and guests v friendly and we made new friends both foreign and Turkish. Still 70Tl for 2 and car. Road to campsite is kinda long, 9km from town, steep, narrow, twisty, but generally paved and well signed at intersections—saw longer van-tourist bus and small trucks at campsite.

Beautiful place and owners cant do enough to please. Stayed here with rooftop tent. Road is long winding road which may be difficult for a small car

A bit difficult to find and rough to arrive, but really worth to look for it and to make it.
The owners don‘t speak any English, but try their best to make you feel welcome and comfy.
70TL/night for two people and a campervan.
Everything very nice. Definitely a place to stay a couple of days - doing nothing.

Very nice campsite indeed. We stayed 2 nights of which the first night was very noisy until 3am and again started at 7am. But this was exceptional as the very nice owner apologised for it. Second night was very quiet.
Toilets and showers are cleaned every 10 minutes or so and are very neat.
We stayed here with our VW T4 which was fine but more than one camper or a bigger car would probably not fit here.

This campsite is a real gem!!! It’s a combination of the splended nature, scenery as well as the amazingly delightfull hosts. They do not speak a lot of english but are very creatively communicative through sign language. We felt very well rested after staying here. We hiked around and ate some delicious food. Again highly recommended to every nature loving overlander. Btw, all other turkish guests were also very kind.

Absolutely worth the drive up in the mountains! Super nice people who've created a very pleasant place. I intended to stop only for the night, but stayed 3 days (partly because of rain). Very friendly owners who take good care of their little piece of paradise!
