Has a no camping symbol on the sign. This is in the road to the beach. Paved road is blocked off.

Report Check-In

Place will be marked soon as prohibited. Locals are complaining. Didn't risk a 700$ ticket. Nice spot to chill...

AMAZING amazing amazing! This is one of the most wonderful spots we have ever stopped. It’s popular but it didn’t matter. It was windy so cooking was difficult. Wish we had wood to make a little fire. Pits are already set up. Definitely worth the detour.

Report Check-In

Cape Jack Beach is a Provincial PROTECTED BEACH Environment. There is NO tenting, NO overnight camping, NO RV's allowed - ever! There is no potable water nor washroom facilities. This is a DAYTIME recreation area for walking/swiming/dogs on leach, not a free camping area. It is currently being regularly monitored by the authorities & fines will be levied for vehicles parked on the beach area off the roadway. Not sure who started advertising the area as a free for all but be aware you are breaking the law! Please visit & enjoy the area during the day/evening, but you must not stay overnight.

We stayed one night and it was perfect. We made a fire, it's a beautiful place!

Report Check-In

Camped here 8/17/19 with no problems. On 8/18/19 a conservation officer responded to a call by locals telling us it was a protected beach and not available to travelers to park on. Everyone with a US plate was asked to leave. Canadian van was allowed to stay. Only signage on site was about taking rocks. Officer passively threatened a ticket for trespassing.

Report Check-In

Closed to non-locals. We stayed one night with no problems in our self contained rig. 2nd night a conservation officer drove out and said we (3 vans with US plates)had to leave immediately and passively threatened a trespass ticket. The Canadian van in the same spot was allowed to stay. The only signage on site was asking not to take rocks and sand. Nothing about parking. Rude locals want this site to themselves and we won’t be back. Message received.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot, beach path very rocky.
Got rained out last night, but the morning was gorgeous, very windy though..

Report Check-In

Belle anse.

Beautiful sandy beach. Lots of space to pitch your tent. Would be useful to bring water shoes if you have them, for the rocky sea bed (rounded rocks). Also bring bug spray, around 9pm the buggers come out in swarms (little biting bugs) and during the day theres deer flies. Amazing spot. People do make fires at night so buy your logs ahead of time. Did a little clean up before leaving, as people (locals or travelers) did seem to leave lots of bad things in the fire pits (glass and rusty nails from random wood they burned). Overall super nice spot i would have stayed longer if i could!!

Report Check-In

It's nice to be able to park so close to the ocean, the sunset really was great. However if you don't have your own indoor facilities for the baňo expect to have a difficult time with that unless it's night time! There will be other campers, locals coming for night walks, and houses overlooking. It does get quiet eventually.. Oh yes, also a train. But again parking next to the ocean is a treat! I'll take it. :) ps. HELLA MOSQUITOS but saw someone else with a beach fire..that would be helpful.

Report Check-In

As the others said a great place to overnight. Again lots of bugs but there’s nowhere without them. Watch for very loose sand among the rocks further in.

17th July 2019 stayed here last night beautiful beach can be a bit soft in places. Good internet signals . Would recommend.

Report Check-In

On the beach, St Georges Bay, beautiful views, no other campers, solitude! Only locals enjoying their country side. Beach isn’t too soft for a trailer ... highly recommend.

Report Check-In

Great location, quiet and right on water. Part of old road has washed away however there is a new gravel road that leads to old paved road that we camped on just beyond the turn around. Perfect camping spot for a couple of rigs on old road. We had 3 overlanders at location last night.

Report Check-In

Nice spot with options to park. To the left you can park on the rocky beach and to the right you can park on the old road which is washed out close to the barrier. Suitable for vans or smaller. Very dark at night. At night it is hard to see a small road that will take you to the old road.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night with great view, very quiet and dark. We didn't go on the gravel because it was too soft for our van, stayed at the end of the road instead. Very few locals came and went right away.

Report Check-In

We turned left at the road barricade and parked somewhat on the beach as there was a garbage can and tire tracks nearby. There is a gravel road to the right but it seemed like it was private. Several houses within view but many seem to be seasonal. Took advantage of the garbage can and cleaned up the beach.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, few campers and a few locals came by. Don’t venture off the worn path, soft sand will sink you

Report Check-In

This site was the highlight of our whole Labour Day weekend. Gorgeous, quiet, clean. Ocean great for a dip! A few locals walked their dogs in the morning along the beach and were very friendly. 100% recommend.

Report Check-In

Amusing place :-)
Don’t go to far 4x4 could be useful

Report Check-In

As it's been already said, great for a night. You are positioned between the ocean and a couple of houses, but they are about 300m away. A distant train can be heard in the night but no louder than my wifes snoring.

Report Check-In

Great spot next to the sea. Nice sun set (see picture).

Nous somme rester une nuit. Nous avons stationné directement sur la plage. Il y avait 3 autres campeurs sur place. L’eau était chaude et la vue…WOW.

We have stay one night. We parked directly on the beach. There were 3 other campers on site. The water was hot and the view ... WOW. What a nice spot.

Report Check-In

nice spot right by the water. one other camper. stayed overnight no problem and left around 10am. not recommended for big rigs over ~20ft but the other camper was a little bigger than that. small campers and cars no problem :)

Report Check-In

Perfect...
the beautifull view, the sea, you only see a couple houses

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot right by the beach. A few cars came by for sunset and some people made a fire on the beach but it was a calm spot.
No toilets.

Report Check-In

Ruhiger Platz, wunderbarer Sonnenuntergang.

Report Check-In

Tolle Aussicht und sehr ruhig. Kann man gerne auch ein bisschen länger bleiben

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot right by the sea, on the paved dead-end part of a washed-away road. Level, quiet, free.
