Absolutely peaceful and relaxing location. We were by ourselves the entire night, slept with doors wide open, enjoying the sea breeze. Police/Coast guard cars come by 24/7 to a little post they have, but don't interact with you. There are some roofs to find shade during the day. Still no other facilities.

A beutiful place. Remote , quit , safe and with a lot of seabirds and sealions on a rock very close. We saw also humpback whales . We slept here one night and it was really good.
You can walk to a lighthouse ( 20 minutes )
No toilets or any infrastructure.

On a motorcycle possible to get there but sometimes tricky because of sand on the road (not that much though) Campground feels a bit sketchy since there are a lot of bones from dead animals laying around. In a tent we felt not too comfortable in a van I would say good spot.

amazing spot, you have to go there! with the wind it is no problem if its to warm at night. its reslly quiet and we felt safe. 1km offroad but easy doable in 2WD

Without a doubt the best place we've stayed on the coast of Peru. Super safe and quiet, very little trash on the beach, it's worth it and even reach the westernmost point of South America!

Sem dúvidas o melhor local que já ficamos na costa do Peru. Super seguro e tranquilo, pouquíssimo lixo na praia, vale a pena e ainda chegar no ponto mais a Oeste da América do Sul!

Report Check-In

Only one dead sea lion today. Calm during the night, some families come during the day. Average dirt for the Peruvian coast.
Good surf, but there is a very strong sideways current close along the beach.

Report Check-In

Quiet beach, even on a weekend when some families come. Parking lot is made of concret and there is no shade. Fishermen and shell collectors come during the day. A group of sealions were sunbathing on a rock, and there were several dead ones on the shore (authorities are saying is due to bird flu). No facilities or supplies, bring all you need! We spent 4 nights and felt safe.

This place has seen better days. It is safe, we stayed one night. Only saw one sea lion alive, and two dead on the beach. Also a lot of dead sea birds and pelicans. It seems a lot for natural life cycle, maybe the oil industry and unregulated fishing has something to do with it. Together with the saline barren environment this place feels a bit hostile. Claro reception available. Last kilometer of the road can be a bit challenging after some rain.

Report Check-In

Really nice place to spent some time, even if you don't plan an overnight stay. Here you can find a company of many-many sea lions that like taking sun bathes on top of a rock that's just in front of the cape. And since there's usually nobody else here, this moments of unity with the nature feel like magic.

Report Check-In

Surrounded by oil rigs with garbage everywhere. Also multiple dead dolphin and walrus carcasses washed up on the beach, probably due to pollution from the garbage or oil rigs..

good spot for 1 night very quiet. beautiful sunset.

bon spot très calme même un samedi soir. endroit "propre" par rapport aux villages d'avant...

Report Check-In

A lonely quiet desert beach with a lot of marine life - several kind of crabs, sea birds, small lizards and a sea-lion colony on south america's most western rock. Maybe it's a so called "pensioner group", as there are some dead ones on the beach. At morning you can see some mans walking at the sea - the local fisher on their surfboard like boat.
Originally we planned to stay just a night, but we left 4 days later as we run out of food and water.
