Something not right?

Description

Just before north end of town abutting the municipal pool. Many of trees growing near the entrance road with low branches, our 3.5 meter tall rig had a few close scrapes. Campground is shady with BBQ pits, electrical outlets and water. Tatty bathrooms but plenty of hot water. Site can be dusty. Fees are 70 per person with a tent and a car

Completely closed and not to reopen. Huge river construction project going on...

Guess it is closed after high season. Big lock on the gate.

El dueño es muy mala onda, no tiene idea de cómo manejar un camping ni la más mínima idea de cómo relacionarse con un viajero

70 pesos for 1person, 1 motorbike and a tent. the site looks better then some i looked at around the town before setting mind on this one. it looks nice for the natural shade of trees and less dusty more grassy places to set tent.
the bathroom and toilets are verry runned down but clean and have hot water 24/7. right in the back, where i set my tent, the site borders with a yard full of cattle - caws, sheep, pigs, goats. but i rather liked it. they sleep at night and the sound they make still more pleasant then the one of motorway. so, i would rather recommed it. just mind you the look of the toilets.

Report Check-In

Not recommended, the sanitary facilities are bad and the information about prices are not correct. We should 160 Peso for one night, 2 people and one motorhome pay. Later there were the 220 Peso

220 pesos

OK...so we looked at 4 campsites in Cafayate. And this is the best. However...the others were so bad! This is a dusty camp 650 meters from the main square. The showers and toilets are clean but very old. We were charged...AP40 per person, AP50 for the vehicle and then AP50 for the camper...AP180 total...what a joke...but there is nothing else near town. It is such a shame there is no decent offer here in this very attractive area.

Report Check-In

Simple campground on the north end of town, less crowded and cheaper than the main one south of Cafayate. 120 pesos for 2 people in a car. No wifi, hot showers.

Report Check-In

Much better Option than the other one South of town.grass, shade, and only a few other campers here. The other campground was busy and a party place. We liked it here! Unfortunately, no wifi. Prices have gone up since the Last overlander was here: 120P for two people and a vehicle!
