Little parking just on the other side of the bridge. The trailhead sign says that it's allowed to camp here. Free.
A little bite of noise from the highway but not too bad.
Room for 3 medium van (24ft) or one big RV.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I did not stay because the trail is marked as closed. I wanted to camp with my tent but it is quite dangerous as it is described as a hazard area. A dead tree might decide to fall on your tent. I would mark this place as closed!
Also the landscape is super depressing. A burned down forest.
Perfect place to stay the night. We parked right by the newly built restroom. River view through the burn scarred forest and paved road up the hill to walk the dogs. Quiet, safe, scenic and convenient.
Report Check-InThis place is beautiful, highly recommend. Just to clarify, the parking lot for Wright Creek doesn’t allow camping but there are a couple sites on the road leading to it and once you pass it. There’s another trailhead you’ll pass just over the bridge that does allow camping, which is an option if the sites are taken.
Report Check-InWent up the road well past the bridge to find perfect and beautiful spots big enough for 24' class c ...I did disconnect the car to park but still lots of room. The river sounds drown out most of any road noise. Nice long trail to hike right next to the river. Would stay here again.
Report Check-InGreat spot! We followed the road a bit further once we crossed the bridge. There are a few camp spots with plenty of room. There were two people camping in tents while we were there and there was still lots of room. Super quiet at night apart from the beautiful river. We walked the Mott segment of the Wright Creek Trailhead in the morning followed by a swim in the river! So peaceful. Please keep it clean!
