Small meadow appx 1km up Stemwinder fsr. Several flat areas for overnight stay. Partial shade in some places. 2wd access to some spots, 4wd to others. Stemwinder fsr is directly across from Stemwinder Provincial Park. Watch out for cactus. Great views of the Similkameen Valley. Please respect the area and leave it better than you found it. And please no fires in the summer months.

Great place to escape as no one else here.
Fantastic open space with great scenery.
Very active logging road so stay a bit further off the road if you can.
Partial shade in places but watch out for ant hills. Ouch ouch.
Great night sleep with no trouble at all.
Just as described. Fantastic. Remember and respect the campfire ban. The road is currently an active logging road so be careful and stay out of their way.
Report Check-InGreat area right after you pass marker 1 going up the hill. lots of openings and a few fire rings. A local told me it's still an active logging road so be weary of logging trucks.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot, but be careful in the spring- I met a very aggressive bull. After bellowing at me he blocked me from getting back to my camper for an hour!
Report Check-Ingreat spot like described, lots of leveled space, fire pits around.
you enter through a kettel gate and drive a few 100 meters up a hill
Nice quiet spot in a small meadow, the little hill blocks any road noise. The air smells great and there is weak LTE service here.
Report Check-InBeautiful meadows where a bunch of cows use to roam around. Although at this time there's a lots of poo, none of the moo's. Lots of firewood available, quiet traffic area.
King of nothing ☠️
We spent 2 nights basically alone in this beautiful wide open meadow on the mountain. A steep climb up but we’ll worth it. There are logging trucks passing by even during the night, but we were in enough that it didn’t bother our sleep. When you think you’re there, another 200m and there’s an entrance by a no dumping sign. Good for almost any size rig, willing to make the steep climb.
Report Check-InJust arrived, we’re gonna camp here tonight, the place looks fine and flat for camping, and as it’s been said before it’s grasshoppers paradise !
Report Check-Inlike the place. flat, kind of easy to access with a low profile car. lots of grasshopper on the morning.
Report Check-InVery nice spot. Just going to stay overnight. Very clean. Nice little fire ring of rocks. Please all leave it even better than you found it.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot, little road noise. As described by others. Lots of space, bring water
Report Check-InWonderful site someone made. Fire-pit and seating. Open space and views. 5/5
Report Check-InWonderful location up a very easy-to-drive hard-pack road. Lots of dead fall for firewood around. Cellphone signal is adequate; about one bar of LTE on Bell/Telus.
Report Check-InBeautiful quiet spot, open and spacious with cows and their patties all over. We went up the little hill by the big Douglas fir and Black pines.
Report Check-Inwe had some friendly cows around us the night we slept there. few cars and trucks using the road near by, even during the night. there was an other van sleeping here with us
Report Check-InAmazing open space off logging road. Beautiful views of the valley and very quiet. Assuming good weather, most vehicles should have no problem accessing. Definitely recommend this spot. Look for entrance (it’s not easy to see) by sign that says “no illegal dumping”.
Report Check-InThe meadow is beautiful, lots of wildflowers this time of year and trees full of crabapples. The drive up is on a gravel forestry road which is steep and difficult with a trailer. Don’t go past the first meadow unless you have 4x4, the turn around spots are few and far between.
Report Check-InVery nice place. Very quiet. No trucks whatsoever (maybe because it was the weekend). No services at all but just the nature. Loved it.
Report Check-InYou have to drive uphill, so a bit further than the GPS coordinates tell you. You barely hear the highway. Quiet night until early morning when trucks drove past us.
Report Check-InPaven rod going uphill. Easy to access. Didn’t hear anything from the street. Recommended for overnight stay

pepperoni and jerky. Watch out for cactus. Great views of the Similkameen Valley. Please respect the area and leave it better than you found it. And please no fires in the summer months.
