Good place for wild camping. I camped with my motorbike, the acces it is easy for bike or Motorbike, I don't know about Motorhome. River with clean water and warm! Excelent for take a bath or clean clothes. Good place and quiet.

Tried calling here but a local stopped by and told us it’s not safe. Armed robberies had been happening until in the area. He advised us to park closer to houses. We left and parked outside a little restaurant about 10km south.

Report Check-InThe road is passable by all vehicles. The area is large. The river is not much more than a stream. Folks passed by but only waved. Quiet night.
Report Check-InTested the “not sure about van or motor home” theory here. Worked great for my 2WD campervan. The access road down is a little steep and sandy, but worked out great. Although there wasn’t much of a river when I was there... somewhat of a trickle. But the locals are friendly and it’s a good stop on your way from Huaraz to Lima.
