Slept here lat night. Quiet with no problems. There were just the right amount of other vehicles here for my taste. Bathrooms were old but fine. I’d sleep here again.

Good place to spend a night. They have an 8 hour limit policy but we arrived at 6pm on the north rest stop, stayed til 9pm then went to spend the night on the south side. We left at 9:40am. No knocks or any disturbances.

We think it's called 'Toutle River Safety Rest Area' because it's standing on the building ;-P

We slept here for 1 night, no one bothered us. Many people come and go.

Tent camping is not allowed.

They have a volunteer program here from 9am till 02am where you can get free coffee, hot water and cookies!
