Altyn Oymok is a women collective who offer ala kiyiz classes (felt carpet). In one hour and for 700som per person they will teach you the process of felt making and you will make your own little carpet you can bring with. They also have a nice craft shop for felt souvenirs. Highly recommended !

The prices are totally crazy now ! 7000 for 2 peoples for one hour to make your little carpet. even in the shop the prices are really expensive. 20 euros for a little bag. they work with the CBT of the city. this CBT has now crazy prices. (200 euros for 2 people for horse riding for exemple) . It is better to go in another place in Kirghizistan for cultural activities .
