we had a very quiet night in beautiful surroundings. thanks for sharing.
actually we wanted to stop much before but had trouble finding side track. so it was night when we arrived and we were thankful for the easy access ;)

Be carrefull, there are now beehives and the bees are active from 5 am. impossible to stay outside. We have to go away. And in the evening, it was little flies and impossible to stay outside.

can hear noise from road, but completely hidden from it.
good place to spend the night when going to/from Malawi.
no shade.

Follow a dirt road on the left and you get to a clearing that overlooks the mountains. Space for cars etc although we are in bikes. Nice view of the mountains and sunset, quiet once the traffic calms down. Maybe slightly visible from the road in some bits, but hard to tell. We felt safe and no one disturbed us.
