There is a sign with rules posted. It says "no camping" but does allow you to park for 24 hours. so, I assume as long as you're not setting up a campsite outside of your unit, or running a generator you are ok to park. We stayed over night, saw the security car drive around several times, but we're never told that we could not be there. There were a dozen or more vans and motorhomes parked there overnight.

The town is no longer letting anyone stay here or in any parking lots overnight. We stayed up Icicle Rd where you can dispersed camp on the non-river side. There is a porta-pottie halfway between 8 Mile and Bridge Creek campgrounds with a small pull off across the street. This is a busy road all the time with cars coming and going from the trailheads.

Report Check-In

Pulled in and stayed for one night with no issues, BUT...

Was informed in the morning by a friendly security guard that overnight stays are not allowed. Apparently there is a sign saying so by the entrance, but I did not see or read it when we pulled in.

There is an abandoned RV and minivan here apparently inhabited by homeless folks, which is presumably what has caused this change.

I expressed my humble opinion that it would be a good idea to allow RVs to park and stay for one or two nights, since most of us (including me) end up spending a bunch of money in town, then move on with no trace and no issues. The guard said he understood and agreed, but he was just doing his job. At least he was friendly and nice about it!

Awesome spot for a night walking distance to all of the restaurants bakeries and bars :)

We stayed here on a Saturday night. Big lot, maybe 10 other overnighters. The sign says stay limited to 1 night every 7 nights. pretty quiet spot and right in town!!!

Report Check-In

Tons of space, right next to town. Pretty quiet at night, loved the spot.

Report Check-In

Clean and quiet. Couple other rv’s that looked parked all the time, a van and actually a man who pitched a tent spent a very cold Monday night there with me. Walking distance to the downtown shops and bars!

Report Check-In

Wanted a quick get away from home. Couldn't find an open spot at either of the two in-town campgrounds and the out-of-town campground was not convenient enough to Leavenworth for us. Since we were just overnighting we recalled the P6 RV parking lot on the far side of downtown Leavenworth. There are no hookups or services, so you are totally dry camping. The lot is gravel and fairly level. There were a number of van-lifers parked there overnight, ourselves in the Class A, and a toy hauler all getting a free night. While you have to pay in all the other Leavenworth lots, and they are all much closer into downtown, this lot is great for Leavenworth because it encourages overnight stays for people passing through so they can enjoy town, spend money, and not have to race out of town when the evening comes.

Still a gravel lot and still free. Right in town.

Pull out at the end of a short side road off a National Forest road. Don’t need 4x4 or clearance. Flat area to park one or two cars with tents. Fire pit but no fires sign at entrance to NF road. Next to small creek.

This spot was ok. Pretty loud but I just used earplugs and slept pretty good. We slept here with 6-7 other rv's/vans.

Report Check-In

Good spot for overnight only. Noisy road traffic and got woken up in the morning and asked to move because they were parking buses for a marching band competition. Still very appreciative for the spot!

This has been a great spot for us over the years, it works great for just passing through or for a quick weekend getaway, the lot is within walking distance of Front Street, the catch is you can stay only one night out of 7, the lot is large enough for big rigs, it is a bit uneven and has gotten worse over the last few years, but you can still find a level spot and if needed drop down some leveling blocks, it is fairly quite and safe, we have never had an issue staying here and it is a really good location, unfortunately some have been leaving bits of trash, my wife and I picked up some and discarded it, as we would hate to lose this great spot provided free by the city of Leavenworth, we appreciate the free spot, thank you city of Leavenworth, WA we always make sure to visit and buy from the local merchants in town.

decent spot. loud in the morning. flat and not too bright

Report Check-In

Perfect for an overnight stop within walking distance to the main part of town

Great for a quick visit to Leavenworth; we spent one day/night here and that felt like enough! ;) Quiet and mostly empty lot when we stayed, although be advised that there seem to be a couple of full-timers/homeless living in the lot. We weren’t bothered and didn’t feel unsafe; would stay again. Check out the Nutcracker museum and try the curry-ketchup fries + beer at the Rhine Haus.

Free parking lot that allows you to stay one night out of the week (although I’m sure you could get away with more.) Nice for a night, and it’s in walking distance of the main strip, so you don’t have to worry if you want to drink. However, not having a bathroom is a downside. There was also a homeless person that set to their hammock to sleep right next to my truck, so that was a little unsettling. I didn’t have any issues though.

Report Check-In

Dirt parking lot, designated for RV Parking, right in town! Perfect for a 1-night stopover.

Report Check-In

Large for parking lot on SW side of town. The P6 area (close to Leavenworth Mountain Sports) allows overnight parking for RVs and commercial trucks. 1 night out of 7 though. In case you want a night in town close to good beer.
