Latest Check-Ins

Long gravel road to reach the destination but it was worth it! We arrive on a magnificent lake with sky blue water. There are plenty of pitches around the lake. We were alone to sleep. Nevertheless, the next morning trucks came to collect rocks around 7am. But it wasn't too disturbing.

Crystal clear water with fish and turtles to amuse you. Other than a family on a boat and 2 people trying out their seadoo's for the first time it was a quiet sleep with beautiful sunset and sunrise.

Wild camping: No utilities. We were not alone there was several peoples when we came in. Once it was getting dark, only few campers spend the night. Our neighbour, was on the other side of the pound.

A widely popular spot with locals for ATVs, jet skis, swimming etc. You won't have any trouble finding a spot to camp either waterside or tucked away. We arrived on Sunday and there were loads of people but only 2 or 3 stayed the night. The only problem was rhe mosquitos, they drove us into our cars/tents at about 8pm. They were relentless, even in the morning! If you have a shelter with a net you need to bring it with you :)

Quiet spot with many areas to pull in for the night. Very quiet. Cell service quite good but there really is a lot of garbage.

Report Check-In

Nice place to camp. Lot of other people here on jetskis, camping or swimming. Some came with normal passenger cars. Off road trails are available for those who wish to.
A lot of trash lying around, some of it half burned. Sad to see, though the locals don‘t really care and may be part of the problem.
Lots of mosquitos in the evening and horse flies during the day. Not even bug spray held them off completely.

Nice place to camp. Several ponds/lakes. Some nice trails to do some offroading for those who wish to. A lot of trash lying around half burned etc. Pity to see, though the locals don‘t seem to care too much and may be part of the problem.

Saving for later — will update once we’ve stayed.

Camped here before but not this time of year. Stayed on a pond slightly behind the ‘main pond’ People fishing. Lots of noise with quads/dirt bikes and a little more litter than I remember. Also in this area (with grass) we found quite a few ticks! Heads up! The road is dry and easily accessible at this time!

Report Check-In

tried to visit but road was bogged down (May 2019). Perhaps later in the season or if you have a 4WD. Lots of trucks using the road.

Real popular spot on the weekend!!! Lots of trailers and tents. People in the water in boats and just floating around. Tons of areas around the pond to camp. No amenities. Fun atmosphere. Easy going in to the pond however around the pond the mud can get slippery fast. Thumbs up!

Great spots to find around the lake. When you take the shortest way from the Hwy 1 it's approx 8 km. good maintained gravel road. Easy access for all rigs. Black flies during daytime. (At Canadian Tire and Walmart y'll find your mosquito dome tents).
