Description

Ruedi and Miriam have (next to casa swiss) a small but beautiful place in their backjard for 2 campers. The new bathroom is huge, very clean, hot showers according to Swiss standards. They offer a laundry service. The best for Overlanders: If you suffer from eating South American bread, you get here the best ever served wholemeal-bread you missed on your trip!

Rudi and Miriam are lovely hosts, we enjoyed our stay here, washed our sheets and got some delicious bread. Bs. 40 per car per night. Recommend!

Stayed the night with this very nice couple and their very cute dog. Great facilities and cozy spot. We also left with very tasty pan integral!

Report Check-In

Nice place to spend a night for only 40 BOL. Ruedi and Miriam are very friendly and helpful. And as already mentioned you can buy bread :-)

Everything is true as stated below. We loved the freshly baked bread and the wonderful big, clean and fully functional bathroom & shower. We enjoyed the company of Rudi, Miriam and their two girls and even got a private classical concert on the violin and guitar performed by Miriam's daughters. Thank you for a couple of wonderful relaxing days. Not to mention the freshly clean clothes and bedding that got washed whilst we were here. We can only recommend this place. Paid BoB 40 per night at Rudi's lavandería and BoB 7 per kilo for the washing.

Great place to stay and relax some days. Ruedi is very helpful and gave lots of information. He also organized that we could fill our petrol tank directly from the campsite via jerrycan (via motorbike taxi). We also had delivered 20 liter drinking water. Ruedi also runs a laundry and a small bakery with good bread that lasts longer. The city center is only a few minutes in walking distance and you get everything you need. including cafes and restaurants.

Very nice and clean place with friendly owners. Miriam, Heidi and Ruedi are very helpful. They hope to get Internet in town very soon to be able to install WIFI. We bought a SIM card to have Internet. Still 40 Bolivianos per vehicle and night. There new place La Chiquitana across the road is under construction and will be finished by the end of the year. There it will have space for 6 to 8 vehicles and big rigs will fit. They are going to build a BBQ and install stove where people can gather. The wholemeal bread they bake is excellent and we took advantage of the laundry.

Report Check-In

Everything as written already. The new camping around the corner is realy nice and will be managed by Ruedis sister, the construction is going on. If the place at the laundry is occupied they bring travelers already there. Recommended

Price is still 40bob per vehicle. Wonderful shower. Our rig is 7m long so not sure another rig would fit unless they took all the clothes lines down or maybe two vans side by side. Other location (around the corner) not ready yet; we'd guess a few more months....oh and they plan to put Wi-Fi in there. 4G reception for Tigo. We were able to fill our water tank as well.

Very friendly family (Ruedi, Miriam & kids and Heidi) welcomes you for staying on their property (40bol/car and night) with spacious clean toilet and great hot shower. Well located in the town, everything reachable by foot (foodstores, restaurant...) Soon they are opening a new nice campground nearby their place with more space, nice sanitarys with hot shower, shelter and shade. The homemade bread they're selling is delicious and the laundry service (6bol/kg) very good! fully recomnended- thanks!!!

Welcoming family and lovely spot to stay. Ruedi was eager to help and makes very tasty bread! Laundry service was great. Whites are white again and without the perfume smell. 6Bs/kg.
They are currently building a larger campground on a nearby lot that will have equally good facilities and more space for rigs of all sizes. It should be ready in early August.
Dog friendly!

We confirm all reviews before!
