Something not right?

Description

Good for one night and for free. Close to the Alaska Highway and next to the river. The view is not the best because on the other side of the river you see industry. No facilities. Enough space for at least two campers/RV‘s. Some people are coming around from time to time but we didn’t have troubles staying there (before the gate).

Great overnight stop, on the bank of the fast flowing river. You can hear the bridge noise, but you get used to it to it a dull drone. Can’t really see the refinery just the flames from the chimneys , we thought it makes it interesting. No facilities but, were self contained.

Report Check-In

Easy to find, chill short drive for any rig, enough room for 4 vehicles, though truly a lotta nails to navigate. Criminal amount of mosquitoes, oil refinery n constant drone/noise from the highway. Close to hwy but not visible to it.

nice place for one night. Was a bit noisy but ok. Unfortunately a ton of garbage around. Not really nice...

Still a lot of nails everywhere, but if you pick some up beforehand you are safe.
Noisy due to the bridge right next to the spot.

Arrived here around 7pm and was so excited - really perfect spot right on the river - however we didn’t stay long, on the opposite side of the river is an oil refinery burning all night. If you’re down for a gas induced head ache, bright flames, and awful smells, this is the spot! We didn’t stay long, shout out to big oil for spoiling what would have been an incredible spot

I like to think this bivvy rly sets the tone for the absolute slog that is the alcan.. the pallet fires must be epic here, so many nails. Welcome to paradise

Good place to pass the night. A little bit noisy from the bridge nearby. Just beside the river. 500m from the Highway. OK.

Report Check-In

Good for one night, it’s just a pull out before the town of Taylor, right at the park boundary. You can lightly hear the traffic but it’s actually not so bad.

Report Check-In

Not a bad place to spend a night, a little industrial but free and flat and a little bit outside of town.
