Something not right?

Description

$15/site.
Little bit of LTE reception.
Nice, big campsite right by a river, secluded and super quiet. Some old fruit trees attract bears, use the food cache! 15$/group, well worth it.
Garbage bins and pit toilets but no other services.
Billions of mosquitoes in August.
Seasonally closed between Oct 31st and April 1st each year, depending on snow levels.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice campsite next to the river, easy access with 33 feet RV. Found a nice spot next to the river (and next to the railroad but no trains passed) with a perfect spot to put a hammock! Very quiet, lots of mosquitos, bit luckily they were not 50-deet-proof, so managed them nicely. Self registration but didn't have any cash and saw nobody.

Report Check-In

pretty standard for a rec site. self registration $15. easy access definitely fine for all 2wd and close to town.

Report Check-In

Campsites are quite large and some of them have access to the creek. Perhaps avoid the one with the apple trees as bears seems to enjoy that one.
Road to the campground is fine with a 2wd.

Report Check-In

15 dollar per night per vehicle. Fine for smaller RVs. Dirt road with soms holes but doable for normal cars. Lots of mosquitos.
Really nice shaded spaces next to a river, very quiet. Busy on weekends.

Report Check-In

Could not stay because of billions of mosquitoes. Seems nice apart from this issue.

Report Check-In

First come first serve, you enter, you pick a free spot and you check in at the entrance. When we passed, there was no way to deposit money nor check in.
Cute place with a river where the kids can play. Offers a nice white noise too and reduces campers noise.
A LOT of mosquitoes at this season (start of August). And I mean A LOT.
Toilets where unusable though, way too smelly and dirty.
Good for a quick night if you have everything you need on you.
Train tracks right next to it, train passed and honked at 8am, not too bad.

Report Check-In

Approximately 30 sites, mostly flat. Road in was muddy and rutted. Pit toilets, bear caches, trash bins. Sites have picnic benches and fire pit. Decent cell reception on the sunny sites by the creek. Lots of firewood stacked beside many fire pits. Self-registration. $15 ($7.50 65+)

Report Check-In

Nice camp site that wasn't busy in early October. Has a mix of forested sites and sunny sites. The mosquitos were bad when I was here in July, but not a problem in October.

Report Check-In

$15 per site. Probably not suitable if you're higher than 9ft/2.7m, a few low branches.

Report Check-In

Gate is closed and campsite will not be maintained until May. For 3 or 4 vehicles it is possible to stay over night in the forest in front of the gate. Super quiet.

Report Check-In

A very nice spot next to two rivers. Costs normally 13 Dollars per vehicle, but we were there while off season (october to may) and had nothing to pay. :)

Report Check-In

Very nice campground with picknick tables, bear cache, river access and even some old fruit trees! However, it's not for free like stated. 13$/group, self-regustration (no-one ever asked us). You might get away with a free night ;)
