Solid place to Overnight. Large enough for multiple 4+ small Rigs. Got their at 4 pm and no one else entered the Picnic Area all night. Road noise not bad at all. PRO TIP: For better Verizon service park in upper lot. Good enough to watch YouTube!
Report Check-InGreat little place. Our rig is about 11’ so we couldn’t pull into the tree, but still beautiful. A bit of trash but otherwise nice. Road was quiet at night.
Report Check-InI love this place! Lots of trees, concrete picnic tables with concrete landings also. Right on the Nueces River. the hwy is close but it seems the traffic has died down, after about 9pm. The pathways are rugged to say the least and there's some very low hanging large tree limbs, so a taller vehicle can't get down into the lower area. but there's a huge paved and gravel parking area above. It got a little busy in the afternoon but after that it's just me and one other traveler couple here.
Report Check-InA few picnic tables along the Nueces river LOW TREE BRANCHES. Big open area adjacent is level and big enough for large rigs. Police car cruised through just after I arrived and waved, a couple 5th wheels showed up later. Road noise was constant through the night. Good place if your passing through and need to stop. T-mobile useable, Verizon barely.
Report Check-InGreat spot. We parked our RV in the upper gravel area (ie not by the river). Highway noise, but seemingly no big trucks.
Report Check-InLovely place, with half a dozen picnic tables under trees by a slow moving river. You can find a place a good 100m from the road to minimize road noise. Reception spotty (Telcel).
Report Check-InGood spot for one night. Lots of room and shade next to the Nueces River. Please take your trash with you!
