Great spot, beautiful vista across the valley, established campfire rock ring - would be an awesome meet up spot for 4-7 vans to form a ring around the campfire - a little lumpy coming in but nothing most vans wouldn’t handle if you’re mindful of clearance or get out a spade and knock off a few high spots

Nice quiet spot. A few cars go by during the day but I’m parked in the first spot. Able to make it to the first few spots in my Prius. Beautiful sunset views and stars at night. Cell reception comes and goes, the higher up you get in elevation the better it is (posting this from the top of the hill in the first pull out). Nice hiking nearby too.

There are several amazing pull outs along this road. Beautiful area leads down to the Rio Chama. Highly recommend. Well maintained dirt road. Very little cell service.

Lots of options along the road. Having clearance is key on some locations but you can manage to find other spots closer to the road without the need for high clearance.

Great spot! I believe it’s maybe the second or third bush camping spot off the forest service road. As previously mentioned the last bit does have large ruts in the road, I drive a short school bus and to prevent bottoming out I had to ride the ruts carefully but it was easily doable! A quiet spot surrounded by hills that made for great exploring. Perfect sunset spot! You’ll feel like you’re nestled in a little nook with the surrounding hills.lots to explore just by walking around your immediate area!
