Just on the west side of Red Bay in the Parking Area for the Boardwalk Stair Climb. Quiet and a great view of the harbour. Thought this was a nicer place as it is a little more private than in town.

As described & a quiet night. We had a lot of rain & the road remained easily passable.
Nice view over the embayment when the fog lifted.
Report Check-InBel endroit tranquille avec vue sur la baie. 2 Iceberg à l horizon, visible du haut des escaliers
Report Check-InWe were looking for a place to stay while exploring the area around Red Bay. This seemed quieter than near the museum. It's a large, mostly level gravel trailhead parking lot. Turning around could be a challenge if there were more than 5-6 RVs. There was one other RV and one car overnighting with us. There're no services. There's 1 picnic table and trash near the start of the Tracey Stairs. There's good ATT signal while roaming on Bell and good Verizon signal while roaming on Telus. The Whaling Museum in town is wonderful and informative as is the boat ride and hike at Saddle Island. The hike to Tracey Hill offers great views after almost 700 steps.
Report Check-InQuiet spot, 2 other vans parked. A few locals visit to check on icebergs, no traffic after dusk.
Report Check-InDefinitely OK to park here, we asked a Canada's Park Ranger and he said it is permitted. Wonderful view, no blackflies at this time of the year.
Report Check-Ingreat location! room to turn around our truck and 27' trailer. it would be difficult with other cars here though. it turned out that we were the only ones here. a few people came by to walk the trail at sunset and then left.
Report Check-InGreat spot. We had lots of room for our 16' travel trailer. One side is level; we used blocks for nicer view. Picnic table, firepit and garbage bin. We did the Boney Beach part of the traa d saw some whale bones. If weather is better in the morning we will go up to the lookout.
Report Check-InWe sleep here last night it was ok but black flies were very agressive because the site is protected for the wind. Very quiet
Report Check-Innice place with a wonderfull view, as described. very oké. do the stairs climb !wonderfull. up are less flies...
Report Check-InNice quiet spot with view of the bay at the beginning of the trail. Room for 5-6 RVs (depending on size). Some spots may require leveling (>6°).
Report Check-InStill a nice spot to spend the night. Nice little walks and a beautiful sunset over the bay.
A bench and bin on the site.
Indeed a wonderful spot to camp with a great view over to Red Bay. Windprotected which is great but the black flys are s nuisance. Quiet and space for several smaller cars. The walk to the top is rewarded with an incredible view over the whole bay, the village and the islands - well worth the effort of climbing.
Report Check-InNice spot with a great view. Far enough away from the road. Plenty of space for a few vehicles... total of four tonight and not too cramped.
Report Check-InJust on the west side of Red Bay in the Parking Area for the Boardwalk Stair Climb. Quiet and a great view of the harbour. Thought this was a nicer place as it is a little more private than in town.
