Confirming earlier report warning that "No Camping" signs are now posted at entrance to park. A bit disappointed--looked like a great place for overnight by ferry. Went to the Walmart 1.7 miles away instead to be close to ferry for next day arrival.

As of today, new signs were posted saying
Park closes at dusk.
NO CAMPING
Violators will be prosecuted.
"As per Section 3(1)(f) of the Protection of Property Act FOR QUESTIONS ABOUT PARKS, PLEASE CALL 311." We'd stayed here last night and then today the signs appeared. Waiting for the ferry. Hoping to find somewhere else to overnight because our ferry leaves tomorrow at noon.

Lots of local during the day. Big parking. Enough place for everybody. Quiet at night.
Beaucoup de gens de la place durant le jour. Grand stationnement. De la place pour tout le monde. Tranquille la nuit.

Pretty little park facing the ferry terminal. Fun place to watch the ships come and go. Lots of locals show up to watch the ships depart. 6 rigs of all sizes here tonight. Internet up/down 30/20. Great for uploading pics before you move on.

Perfect spot, beautiful view of water and ferries. Port a potty open all night.

Only correction is there is a portable toilet here now. 6-7 RVs here for the last two nights. All quiet.

This place is great but a little difficult to find. The GPS coordinates took me to the wrong location. Search Indian Beach Regional Park on Google maps and use satellite view to find the road if arriving at night.

Grand stationnement, effectivement assez passant avec les gens locaux, très belle vue des traversiers qui quitte en attendant le notre pour se rendre a Terre-Neuve.

Stayed for one night, quite spot near the water and the ferry. No washroom on site.

The perfect spot to set up for the night. Flat and great view. A few other RVs etc there.

good lot, we will stay here, it is indeed an ideal spot for waiting/ stay the night for the
ferry tomorrow morning. it is big with more RV with a nice look on the harbour and " our ship".

Perfect place for catching the ferry since it’s literally 2 minutes away. We stayed here two nights. We used this as a base the first night spending the day doing laundry, food shopping, water fill, etc.
The second night was nice knowing we were so close to the ferry in the morning. There were a few other campers there each night doing the same thing. Trash cans on-site. Plenty of space for all size vehicles.

Great spot for overnight stay. Garbage cans at parking lot. Several locals come to park for a bit then leave but there is lots of room

wonderful night listening to the waves at full tide! it drowns out the engine noise from the ferry ships 3 other vans were here too!

Really excellent overnight spot. Very level, large parking area just beyond the playground. We had a great view facing the ferries which were all lit up at night. We were joined by about 6 other camper vans. Plenty of room for bigger rigs, too. Also saw a couple of truckers settled in at the parking before the playground. Great spot for self contained vehicles.

We came off the Newfoundland ferry about 6 PM, and decided to overnight here. What a great place. There was some light traffic from locals visiting the pier, but otherwise very quiet. Great view of the ferry terminal. We were joined by two other campers in the evening. Lots of room for everyone. No facilities available other than garbage cans.

Large parking lot connected to a grassy park and playground overlooking the Newfoundland ferry. Beautiful views. Live music tonight from the bandstand!

Très bien pour une nuit! Par contre, jeunes et leur voiture jusqu'à minuit. Ainsi que beaucoup de gens en général en soirée.

The park has a nice playground with plenty of parking. No signs for no overnight parking. There’s a food trailer now with a very nice owner on one side of the parking. Good overnight spot if you are taking the ferry. No facilities.

It was okay for a night before catching the ferry. FYI. You can only park at the ferry terminal if you have a reservation but if your reservation is for the 11:45am ferry, you cannot go on until the 11:45 pm ferry has left.

Uneventful stop for the night. We had our windows closed and I can't remember hearing the ferries at all. Forgot to add that there are two porta potty available.

A good place for one night. But we got disturb by drunk teenagers untill 11:00pm (car's burn, little race on the parking lot..) It seems like there was theirs spot. After they have leaving, the spot was quiet.

Convenient for before or after the ferry.
Constant engine noise from ferry bosts.
Nice playground.
Porta potties.
