Follow the well maintained Grey Mountain Rd.(Gravel)from Riverdale for 6km until a big parking lot to your right, after this point the road isn’t maintained and getting very bumpy for the next 2,5km- def.not recommended for big rigs but reachable with a 2WD at dry conditions, the gravel pit to your right where I stayed will fit 3-4 camper/vans, one fire ring, absolutely calm area, great for MTB and hiking at Grey Mountain with nice trails- from there you have a beautiful view at Whitehorse and the Yukon River

We stayed here for 2 nights. There is local traffic as mentioned. Quite more than you would expect but not too bad. Everyone friendly. The night is 100% quiet. Road is bad but okay.
EDIT: In the second night we stayed here there were drunk locals driving up and down the mountain road. They even stopped and slammed at our door driving away laughing. That was 3am. So not very cool. My girlfriend almost had a heart attack
Report Check-InRoad get a little more bumpy after this spot. So we stayed on this spot. Few Mountain bike trails starts from there. Few local traffic. Nice view on Grey mountain.
Report Check-InStayed here for a night in our 4x4 truck camper. Didn’t use 4x4 at all the road was dry and doable with just 2wd.
There aren’t many level spots and there is a decent amount of traffic. Great stop but not sure it was worth driving past the first pull off down towards the beginning of this road.

Report Check-InWe stayed here for one night. In the evening two cars came along and in the morning one Hiker. Perfect stay: close to Whitehorse, a bit off-roady and stunning view on Grey Mountain in the morning. We had 10cm snow this morning :-)
Report Check-InFlat turn off halfway up the road nice view and if your not a wimp like me just go further better views above
Report Check-InPlenty of space to spend the night near Whitehorse. the area is quiet at night but we still saw 3 cars passing by at night and another 4 in the morning. you are basically camping on a pull off so not my favorite thing to have cars passing by. you can drive further up road to see if there is something that you can't be seen from the road, otherwise if you are comfortable it was ok for the night.
