Easy access from the 120.
The spot fit perfectly our van.
Gorgeous views of the lake.
Stayed here over a week! Really nice spot, no 4x4 needed, full Verizon service, amazing views. Pack it in pack it out. Hike to the crater, it's other worldly.
Report Check-InAmazing spot! 360° view. Sunrise over Mono Lake and sunset over the mountains. Super quiet.
Report Check-InGreat spot with amazing views! There are 2 other spots past this one, all are small, so not suitable for anything larger than a van. The road is in good shape, but it's narrow so you may get some scratches. You can walk to the Panum Crater from here & it's only a few minutes from Navy Beach. Very quiet! Good Verizon, spotty TMobile even with a booster.
Report Check-InGreat spot with mountain and lake views and the Verizon service is good enough to work remotely.
Report Check-InBeautiful. Got here around 4:30 and nabbed a spot then 2 other vans followed in tow. There is at least one other spot down a ways
Report Check-InAwesome spot with gorgeous views of both the mountains and the lake. The sunset behind the mountains was insane last night! This is a level parking spot for car camping, but there’s other pullouts further down the road as well. Gravel road but easily driven with our minivan without problems. For a Friday in July it’s eerily quiet with only one fellow camper down the road. 3 bars of LTE with Verizon. 10/10 would recommend!

Report Check-InAs advertised and then some. I can’t believe there is no charge for a site with this view!
Report Check-InDirt road path with small pullovers. Perfect for a van. Great view and walkable distance yo crater.
Report Check-InCurrently closed due to fire danger. We had to find another spot but it did look nice from the road
Report Check-InNice little pullout, just big enough for our 21’ truck camper. Lovely view of the lake and away from the paved 120. Probably got a couple of new pinstripes from the brush, fairly narrow.
Report Check-InGreatview if the lake. We were able to get our 25ft Winnebago View in the pull out even with our bikes and kayaks on the back. The spot just off 120 has more space but there were 3 cars parked there so we just drove down the right fork of the road and found that great spot. The photo is a view of Mono Lake out our window.
Report Check-InStayed one night with our 21' van. Lovely view. No problem getting in or out without 4wd.
Report Check-Innice pullout large enought for our van. the dirt road to get to tge pull out is ok without 4wd. the pullout is facing the lake and the view is great.
Report Check-Inamazing view ! no need 4wd to go there, but can be quite hard with huge RV. we were in campervan, perfect.
Report Check-InVan got scratched up front plants near the road but the view is unreal!
Report Check-InCool spot in winter road is closed to go through so did not see any traffic except for one Caltrans truck.
Report Check-InGreat place for camping on a side track leading towards Panum Crater on a ridge overlooking Mono Lake to the east and the Sierra to the West.
Report Check-InA number of pull out accessible via gravel road 1n32, north towards Mono Lake, shortly after the Mono Lake south tufa sign (if coming from the east/Benton.
Very quiet, great views, no amenities.
Great spot! Several pullouts along this gravel road, fit our 21ft motorhome perfectly. Beautiful views, beautiful sunset.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. We stayed for one night between stints in Yosemite and will definitely stay here again. Amazing sunrise and sunset.
The maze of gravel rds in this area is a little confusing and many do not appear on google maps. After turning off of CA 120 (the paved rd) take the road labeled as 1N32 (it does not appear on google maps), NOT 1N31. They all connect and all have a variety of pull-off options, but the best spots overlooking the lake are off of 1N32. Be careful of soft gravel - most spots are fine and we managed with our 2wd, rwd conversion van, but there were a few soft spots that you could definitely get caught in if not careful. Also - do not continue all the way down this road - right before it connects with another gravel rd, it has super washed out area that isnt navigable without high clearance and likely 4wd.
Great Verizon service here, quiet at night and very clean. Please keep it this way! It was pleasantly surprising to not see any trash.
