Latest Check-Ins

We had a lovely overnight stay here. As mentioned, it is an open field with 24h parking (by donation) for RVs and camper vans. It was level, quiet, and the owner came by to chat and was very friendly!

Please "DO NOT" change this category icon to "established campground". If one is searching for a free camping spot they would not check this on the filter and so miss out on this great spot. Someone did that to the current two icons on the map, there is no intelligence in that. It is Christmas Day and I'm the only one here. The AC outlets on the buildings do NOT work but the AC outlets on the two light poles DO work, a welcome Christmas gift. Please leave the category at "INFORMAL CAMPING". Do not change that icon again. People who are looking for a free camping spot and do not choose "Established Campground" would not find this spot. I suspect summer facilities would be different. There might be more plugins, garbage, toilets. Right now there's a gazebo with a picnic table and two light poles with AC plugins.

Great place with a designated RV parking on a flat grass lot. Very quiet and peaceful. There was 30 and 15 amp outlets in addition to a nearby sani dump. They request a donation and it is worth it. No tenting but all self-contained rigs work. Big rigs OK.

Très bel endroit pour VR de toute longueur. Espace gazonné. Tranquille.

The first comment describes the place perfectly…
Great place to stay for a night or a few. Very quiet when I stayed and the power was working.

Report Check-In

We had the whole place to ourselves. It’s October so there isn’t a lot of tourists anywhere in NS at the moment!
We cleaned up some trash left behind by others. I trust it wasn’t someone from the iOverlander community!
It’s a quiet place for a night. There are several picnic tables, trash cans and a gazebo but the power outlet was not working.
The Superstore is within walking distance.

Huge grassy field. We parked far right under some trees for shade. Some trash left behind by others. Always disappointing to see. No other vehicles. Nice and quiet.

Report Check-In

We arrived at about 5pm and there were at least 30 big RV’s/trailers already set up. Open field, plenty of space but you’re basically parking next to each other. No privacy. Safe spot for the night. There are a few porta potties. Not the usual boondocking spot unless parking side by side is your thing...

great free location. donations accepted. we found six 20 amp outlets, you may need an extension cord. free rv dump..and you can walk to grocery store, etc. located 2 minutes from the main highway.

Report Check-In

undeveloped site, we stayed last night, convenient to the community of Liverpool. One van overnited as well.

Report Check-In

Very convenient place. Enough large for several vehicles. Quiet.
Stores and fast food are very close if needed.
No restrooms.
We didn’t find the donation box to give something.
The place for dumping is really convenient. No water.
Leave no trace.

By donation campsite located in an open field across from Hank Snow Center. Short walk to shopping amenities. During heavy rains the field becomes quite saturated so be mindful where you park/ drive. Very convenient when visiting the Liverpool area.
