Description

This campsite is run by a family of angels! When the corona crisis started to hit the province of Cordoba really hard, we had just arrived (escaped!) from Chaco. The family welcomed us with warmth, friendliness, just what we needed. When the Cordoba governor ordered all tourist accomodations to be closed, they offered to hide us in their home. We could not accept because this could impair their future wellbeing in the arera, therefore we left and drove to Buenos Aires the same day and flew off home a couple of days later. The campsite offers great views on the laguna with hundreds of birds. Of course everything needs a little maintenance, but this is Argentina, right?! The place is closed right now, but when things are back to normal again, please come and visit these people on our behalf!

Latest Check-Ins

It's now 4000pn for 2 people in a van. It's a beautiful place under trees with view at the lagoon. Hot showers but very basic.
Tons of mosquitos, bring repellent!

Report Check-In

A wunderful place with wunderful owners. Located directly at the Laguna Mar Chiquita and You can walk on a kind of wooden jetty to be closer to the water. Easy to acces via Ruta 17 (which can be heard a little bit, but absolutely not disturbing). Various places for cars of all size (big rigs no problem), absolutely peaceful and quiet. Many parillas, Wifi works good, no Claro signal, electricity on very many sites. We saw hundreds of flamingos.

We are here for the second time - recommended. On days with only low wind be aware of the mosquitos.

Camp in an amazing location. They are building a new wooden bridge to overlook the lagoon.
Trucks can bypass the height-restricted gate.
2600$ pn for 2 persons and truck.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campsite by the lake with loads of flamingos, but becareful if you try to walk towards flamingos you get stuck in the mud and it smells sulfur, but you can walk further towards the left side of the lake and you can get more close the flamingos there. Toilette and showers old but clean with boiling hot water, family who owes it really nice and helpful, we were the only ones there, but there were too many flies. they time, maybe this time of the year. it can be a seasonal thing. We paid here 2 people with the van 1500 ARS per night, I think this was an excellent value

The spot is beautifull. Toillet and bathroom dirty. We saw flamingos flying in the evening. Better to name this place a good place to stay overnight without facilities.

Report Check-In

June 2018 stayed only one night with flamingos. Beautiful place but too dirty and unattended place. There was the no one. Quiet and good for one night staying.
