It's a great place to park! Very quiet. The restrooms are unusable, haha, but it's a safe sleep spot! :) There's a free dump station about a mile away behind the hospital at the Veterans Memorial Ball Park, too!
Report Check-InVery lushly vegetated city park. Quiet. Bathrooms were old, but fairly clean. One of the two ladies shower works. Mens shower non-operable, per my husband. charcoal grill at sites—cooked our chicken sausages on it. Concrete picnic tables were clean and solid.
Report Check-InAs described, quiet relaxed spot by a little river for 5 bucks a night. Washrooms with showers available. Lots of families around enjoying the park.
Report Check-InVery quiet city park that is not near any city activity. Did not use bathrooms. Definitely return again for the solitude.
Report Check-InCamper park together down by the water. really peaceful away from the playground. Several RV’s here. Bathrooms are closed for the season.
Report Check-InGreat spot. A few vehicles driving around early in evening but that’s it. Arrived around 6:30pm and still were spots left. $5 donation is well worth it.
Report Check-InIt's a good place for the night. Do not swim in the river, it is polluted, partly sewer.
Report Check-InThe sites aren’t secluded at all and it feels strange camping next to a city playground but it’s hard to argue with $5. bathroom and trash cans
Report Check-InPlace was ok. City cop came and knocked on my window announcing the park was closing in 5 minutes. I had been sleeping for a while at this point. Bathrooms were closed, so I can not comment on them.
