Beautiful area and easy access. Arrived late on a Saturday, a lot of RVs. Bathrooms are not in great shape and full of mice in the morning.

Report Check-In

Great spot to camp. Very quiet and peaceful. Not far from the freeway.

Report Check-In

Still an amazing place. Had to pick up behind a lot of locals who left trash and firework debris behind after swimming. Shame the locals don’t appreciate something this nice. Great place to hangout for a day or two. Help keep it clean and pick up some trash too.

As described. This is my second time here on a weekend and both times it was quiet with only a couple of other visitors. Water’s got a lil green tint but not enough to stop us from swimmin in it . Let’s connect on Instagram! @the_nomadic_experience

Awesome peaceful lake park with free camping plus even a beach for swimming! Fishing too. There’s even electrical hook up which costs extra (not sure how you pay, this place is unmanned and I’m a minivan guy). Two RVs here today, but lots of space between us. Decent Verizon and TMobile. Gravel road in is pretty easy. 1.5 miles off I-90. Great place for a night or more! Definitely a fly situation going on here late July, and some mosquitoes last night.

Report Check-In

We found the best spot when we continued driving past the pavilion near fishing dock. Only site with a picnic table and a nice and peaceful spot. It was a bit windy with the thunderstorms that passed through, however well worth the stay for being free and providing bathrooms.

Report Check-In

As stated previously, free, grassy, beautiful views of the lake. After 6pm the jet ski and teens left and we were just one of three rv’s. Very peaceful. Flies were bad in the am. I couldn’t use the toilet, the seat was ducted tapped.

Pretty much as described by others. Grassy slope next to the lake with fire rings. Only one site had a picnic table. Free for 5 days without electrical hookup. There was one other vehicle camped on a Friday evening. We used the picnic shelter for our dinner and breakfast, which had electrical outlets and lights. Pit toilets were clean. Lots of birds! Saw a few deer. Mosquitos chased us into our tent in the evening because we couldn’t find our repellent. Overall a great place.

Excellent, peaceful spot even on Memorial Day weekend. Arrived at sunset just as a storm was rolling in. A lot of campers set up for the weekend but still plenty of space for a lot more. A quiet place for a good nights sleep while driving across 90. All spots mostly level but not perfect.

Report Check-In

We spent a Sunday night here in March. We were alone, super quiet and beautiful. Large fire ring to keep us warm. There are vault bathrooms open but no toilet paper. Cleaning products in there so everyone can help keep it clean. Great stop, would stay again. As others mentioned, free if not using electric. The boxes are locked so you need reservations and a key if you do need it.

Arrived just in time for sunset. Just one other person at the moment. Coming from the east, I can't believe this spot is free!!

Easy enough place to overnight, quiet and close to highway. Pretty dead on a Friday night. Just wanted to reiterate that the bugs are awful, so bring your screens and bug dope! Good cell service on ATT.

Nice and peaceful stop just 6 mi from I-90. Toilets, covered picnic table on the water, trash dumpster and a couple large grassy areas for camping. Tents to large RVs. Drive in is easy. Buggy in August as dusk settled in and the wind kicked up for an hour. Have 2-3 bars LTE T-Mobile. We parked at the far end of the reservoir.

This is a perfect spot to overnight. Lots of waterfowl and a beautiful little lake. Very peaceful.

Report Check-In

Pretty easy to find and get to in my 2WD Promaster getting in just after sunset. Quiet and far enough off of the road that it wasn’t busy. Only us, a truck and a fifth wheel and a tent, all pretty spaced out. We’ll definitely stop here again while passing through.

Five day camping limit.
Free for those who don’t need electric. There is also 6 spots to plug in if you need electric for RV which cost $20 a day.

Good place to camp and enjoy. There is also an area with trees which is a huge plus for shade with the summer sun. Large area to park. Boat launch, fishing, pit toilet, and electric at picnic pavilion

Report Check-In

Good site, lots of space on a grass lawn up against a tree line. There are pit toilets with some amenities (hand sanitizer). There is lots of room for kids and dogs to run around. There is a playground on a little peninsula close to the water. We were tent camping and settling down for the night when a huge lightning storm passed right overhead. The wind was SERIOUS so we took down the tent and bugged out of there and had to travel quite a ways (Mitchel) to find a hotel that would take us and the dogs. Be smarter than us and check the weather report, this area is just about the worse possible place to be in a lightning storm.

Report Check-In

Decent overnight spot, plenty of room and pit toilets available. Had no issues getting there in my 2WD sedan during dry conditions. Got 4-5 bars of AT&T LTE which was great. I would overnight here again.

very nice place, right on the lake, grass is cut, fish r jumping.

Report Check-In

Wonderful waterfront oasis w/single outlet in pavilion. Horse shoe and volleyball Court (bring your own net) area big enough for a block party. Many sites, only a few hidden from sun.

Report Check-In

Beautiful open grassy spot on a small lake. Can get windy. Be prepared for mosquitos. Pit toilets, very industrial, average cleanliness, lid/seat was broken in one. For electrical hookups you need to get a key in town.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Highly recommend not attempting this place when raining without four or all wheel drive. Road in very slippery and one section of entrance road becomes a big mud puddle. Luckily we found a small place to turn around but if your unit is longer than 30ft turning around would be near impossible.

Really cool place. Very quiet.

Excelente lugar, tranquilo.

Large grass area on a Lake. it's official allowed to camp here for a maximum of 5 days. It's just 10 minutes away from the highway, but very quiet. You drive from an Asphaltroute on an gravel route, but it's ok for small and big vehicle. On the Lake you can drive boat, swimming, fishing, have an BBQ. You have there also table with a roof on it. There are also pit-toilets, the worse I have seen here in the country, but it works. In the "toilets" and on the roofer picknicktable you have also an Power supply, and an electric light, not much, but better than nothing.
There are no bins, so you have to pic in, what you have pic out.
please keep the place clean.
