Beautiful spot for boondocking along the creek. Plenty of spots with fire circles.

Report Check-In

Great place to escape the heat wave! Cold creek water to sit and wash feet in, enough trees for shade and hammock but we still had space and filtered sunlight, big fire ring and a bench made out of logs. No Verizon service. Many flies, but they didn’t seem to bother us while the fire was going, and we didn’t feel any biting. Tons of spots up here, many accessible with any vehicle but this road was pretty rocky for our 2WD high clearance van.

We stopped here for lunch. Gorgeous area with lots of campsites not too close to each other. If you’re like us though, we like total seclusion.
Still would be a great (and probably fairly quiet) place to stay the night.

Great place with a nice view of some mountains. Lots of sites all along the road.

Report Check-In

When you turn on the road to get to the campground there is a rundown trailer. After a little while you’ll come across a large flat area with a view of the mountains. Lots of room, could fit any size RV here. But if you are in anything larger than a van i would not recommend continuing down the road. Steep declines and switchback dirt roads, the campsite near the water is great for tents but a very small travel trailer will have issues turning around or fitting between trees to park. Make sure you avoid rocks in the road unless you have high clearance. Would not have been able to get out without a buddy to help guide my reverse. Parts of the dirt road still entirely covered in snow. But seemed like a lovely place to camp

Report Check-In

As described. The entrance is right after the creek bridge on the right side. The road is a bit tough, but no real problem for vans and small RVs. It might be tricky to find an even spot, but we managed without elevators. It is right by the river and is gorgeous. It also has fire pits. There is no cell coverage.
