Lovely spot by the river. We found a dispersed spot just up from the four real camp sites. So gorgeous!

Free, FS land. 14 day limit. Pit toilet was clean. No other amenities. There is no cell signal, and there are 2 cgs depending if you are north or south of the creek. We were on the North, up above the creek. If you want the lower, south side cg, along the creek, turn right on Stoken Road, and past some farms. There is a small sign where to turn left to go down to the sites along the river. The road from there is gravel and rutted, and fairly steep. There are 4 formal sites down there on the creek. Maneuvering is tricky if you have a big rig, and I wouldn’t advise a 5th wheel or class A down there. There is a SMALL turnaround at the end. Best walk it if you are unsure. The upper, or north side of the creek is just past the Stoken road turnoff. There is an unmarked gravel road ( good road) that goes off at an angle to the right, and slightly uphill. Big wide open spaces with established camps and a pit toilet in a thinned out pine forest. Some shade. Some road noise, but not bad at all. Decent spot for a few days. Close to Eureka for all your needs.

Two area to camp. One on each side of creek. Explore the area. We found lots of dispersed camping not including the 4-5 sites indicated. We arrived 9pm on Friday. We saw 4 others. We found a secluded, quiet area(not creek side) to sleep. I don't think you would ever have difficulty finding a spot here. It didn't look well used. There were glass and nails but you had to look.

Really nice area by a river and it’s free. Can’t beat that.

Informal campground. There are about 5 spots right on the creek. It looks like most people set up camp here to snag spots then go off fit the day. I got the last spot next to the creek. I car camp, but set up my tent so I could go check out the brewery that is half a mike away! Sadly right across the river is a logging road, very loud trucks all day. I would imagine it will quiet down. The creek is a nice relaxation for me and my pup who have not had great luck with camping spots recently. I plan to stay here 2 nights. Close enough time whitefish I can go into town tomorrow.
