Friendly staff and owner. Rustic but nice and cheap place!

160 Rand per campsite per night, no matter how many persons you are.

Very nice place with a few camping sites. Potable water, easy but ok ablutions. Nice restaurant (open from wed-sun), lounge, pool and nature. Short walk to the river. You can hear the street a little at night. Complete site is secured. Nice and helpful owner. 140rand pn and site.

Basic campsite, not really well maintained, but that doesn’t deter from the beauty of the area. Incredible birding. The Goat Shed had amazing food!! So impressed with the restaurant.

Nice and friendly owner. There us a small grassy place where you can camp with ablutions and a kitchen.
we paid R 160 for 2 Pers. and a Camper per night. Very good WiFi at the reception.

Big rigs, first stop in the parking lot and check the height and width of the branches. We couldn't pass and parked in the parking lot. 160 R per site. Good MTN signal. There is a nice short steep track that goes down to the river.

New owner since Nox '21. Matthew is very friendly and great to chat too.
The campsite area has shaded and open areas, basic ablutions, very clean with hot water and good pressure, and small kitchen area, a little run down but for the price 150r per pitch, a bargain.
The bar is great and the food in the restaurant looks amazing, open Wed-Sun, discounts on food on Wednesdays.
Big communal area with sofas, TV, pool table and ping pong.
Fast WiFi at bar/restaurant and in communal area.
Pool and large great outside area, with plenty of places for kids to play.
Two adopted young dogs who Matt found abandoned, very friendly and good with other dogs and children. Pets welcome.
We will be more than happy to visit again, and are excited to see what Matt will do with the place as he seems very focused and enthusiastic.

Another nice stay. R165 for camping but say you say it here for 150 and it will be honoured.

Simple ablutions, fantastic soil for a tent.

Lovely owner.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Only one night. Matthew the new owner is really throwing himself in to the place.

The facilities were basic but reliable.

Great shower pressure and hot water. I used the main house and there was fast wifi.

I must say, you’re a bit close to the main road so you will hear cars. There are teo dogs which may sniff around your tent. The ground was not flat.

I paid R150.

Would stay here again.

New owner Mathew is a really nice bloke, and is doing a great job of doing up the place. Great campsite. Got charged R150 per night for 2 adults and 2 kids because the shower at the campsite wasn’t working, although Mathew let us use the one in the main house. Probably the best value we have found in 3 months in South Africa, and one of the best campsites. Very fast internet. Good swimming pool.

Great spot for a night or a week. The owner has changed just a week before we came. Matthew is very friendly and we have been his first guests. He just started to rework the facility and getting things working. Ablutions a little bit run down but clean. 150 ZAR per night for the two of us with our Sprinter Van, but that might go up when everything is done . You can also hire one of the beautiful djungle cabins. The restaurant "The goat shed" was closed but locks promising.
