Western Sahara
Camping: MAD65 for 1 person, 75 for two.
Hot showers, clean toilets, WiFi around reception and good laundry and washing up area. Electric hook up possible. Convenient location near the shops, market and sea.
Ground pretty solid.
They also have rooms for 130 MAD. Shared, extremely clean facilities.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Possibly the cleanest place down here in the south!
WiFi available at reception area. 24/7 gas heated hot showers.
A decent place to stay. Flushing toilets and hot clean showers. If sleeping in a RTT ask to park in the vehicle washing bay as this gives some shelter from the relentless winds on this coast.
Very friendly chatty manager. Cost 75dirham for 2 in a RTT.
Coming from the south, this place is well located and has pleasant facilities. At least in relation to being free. it has a lot of space. The wall protects from the wind and nuisances. Toilets are clean. Unfortunately, water doesn't run at the sinks at all times. We were also able to use the ancient washing machine. We paid 75 Diham per night for two people and our MAN. We stay here for two nights. We would come back.
Report Check-InWalled compound next to the beach and markets and restaurants. No shade, unfortunately visibly not maintaned but clean toilets. Enough space and the guy running it is very friendly. 65 drh for 2 people and 1 tent
Report Check-InOne of the few stops along the coast going north-south (or vice versa). Looks run down and not well maintained. Several old French wrecks are parked at the entrance. Ablutions are clean although not everything works. Had to find a spot out of the wind as it blew strongly. Only spot was behind the main building. The camping is 65mad for one vehicle and two people. Two person room is 150mad.
Report Check-InThe owner said 50DH for each tent and a room with 2 beds was 150. We opted for the room to be out of the wind as it was particularly windy. Showers and toilets are fine. Within walking distance to get something to eat.
Report Check-InDecent campsite. Not maintained well (like most places here). Friendly owner, can print you some fiches for 1DH per sheet of paper. 65DH for 2 people, excluding electricity.
Report Check-InA simple site near the coast, and a short walk into town. Clean toilets and showers. Okay for a night at 65MAD
Report Check-InA stop on the way south. The place is unkempt and not maintained. Sanitary facilities only partially work. Administrator was rude and insulting right at the beginning on the return journey, so we left the place immediately.

Report Check-InA good alternative to the hotels in the city if traveling with motorbikes - the bikes were safe and we could stay in a room (clean, for 150 dh). Clean facilities (we did not have warm water though). Friendly staff. Within a walking distance we found a butcher/restaurant and ate a huge portion of lamb chops for a very good price.
Report Check-InA lot of wind and sand. Facilities clean, hot showers, friendly people. Beach and city Center in walking distance. We stayd two nights. ok for the money.
Report Check-InWas obviously a nice camp at one time, now looks like where scooby doo investigated ghosts at the old abandoned camp. Toilets actually ok, otherwise it's just a place to kip overnight.
Report Check-InThis place still exists. 65 MAD a night, hot shower for men, cold water in women's, electricity, no wifi while we were there. Two guard dogs tied up day and night, lots of barking. Safe place to pass the night while passing through.
Report Check-InStayed here during Covid 19 and as many other places, they were suffering badly from lack of business. Nevertheless we were met with open arms.
We were on motorcycles and wanted to pitch our tents. They were embarrassed about all the sand in the toilets after the strong winds the last few days, and within minutes the entire family was cleaning and removing sand. So quickly the toilets were completely clean with running water.
This is Sahara. Strong winds and sand, should not surprise anyone.
The family is Sahrawi and just lovely. They invited us for tea, and we spend all evening having so much fun with them.
Walking distance to the town. No barking dogs as is normal around Moroccan campgrounds.
Nothing special but it works for one night if you need an overnight here. How clean it is can be questionable but still ok for what you pay. We did not find any indoor kitchen and we were not ask if we brought a present for the owner🤪🤪
Report Check-Innice place to sleep a clean room and toilet
you can camp........safe place for moto
I paid 65 MAD for me and my car. Really windy place, dusty but okay as other have mentioned. The owner though asked me if i brought a gift for him while checking in. He told me that most westeners bring him old furniture and stuff. I dont know what he's talking about, but i gave him nothing... overall one of the less charming places in western sahara but okay for one night. The town though is nice, you can get all you need.
Report Check-Inreally windy place. facilities are okay, the whole place is kind of dusty but not a thing to worry about. the owner though asked me if i brought a gift for him when i checked in. he said, most of westeners bring old furniture ans stuff for him and his family. dont know what he's talking about, i did not gave him anything. dont get scammed guys
Report Check-InPretty much as others have written. The owner is a complete douche though - it’s very windy and nowhere to sit out of the wind so we sat in the communal kitchen. The owner wanted to charge us extra because use of the kitchen is only for the folks that rent cabins ( we were the only people at the entire facility). He also wanted to charge me extra because I used the basin in the laundry area...you decide what to make of this but it’s clear to me why this place gets no guests...
Report Check-InAcceptable camping, decent showers, but washing machine is a joke. Better off doing it by hand.
Report Check-InNice little place. Cost 65MAD for one person and car without electricity. Hot shower. Decent facilities. Wifi was broken
Report Check-In50 mad pp. Came in late (1am) on Moto, guard kindly let us in and showed us around. Plenty of spots and warm showers.
Report Check-InAs described before, basic camping, good for a night. In a secure walked compound. Nice owners. Much nicer than the photos make it look.
Report Check-InGrumpy owner and not flexible with the electricity at all, can't charge your phone without paying the 20MAD. Otherwise as previously described, 65MAD for 2 people and a tent.
Report Check-InCamping 65dh one person. Single room 100dh (price list said 120 though) double room 200. Rooms sink only. There is a bungalow with facilities expensive i think (400 - 2 people i think)
No shop or restaurant. In a walled compound
Report Check-InCampamento rodeado de muralla con guardian 24 horas. Cuartos de baño limpios con ducha con agua caliente. Zona para lavar vajilla y otra para lavar ropa. También lavadora automatica. Wifi. 65 Dh. 2 pax y 4x4 + 20 Dh. electricidad. También dispone de bungalows.
Report Check-InCompound near the beach. All sand. Small stands. OK facilities. Not a place to stay for more than one night.
Cost:MAD35
Report Check-InGood security. Little shade. Hot showers, clean toilets and good laundry and washing up area. Convenient location near the shops, market and sea. 65 dirhams for two
