Nice quiet spot. It looks like the cows had a party in this spot before we pulled in. 😁 The gravel road for access is north of the spots. My GPS kept telling me I was here and I could just see a wall of trees. Several spots down this road.

Great spot! There are 4 large spots and 1 smaller spot on this road, all with fire rings. The road is rocky, probably muddy in the rain, but it's not a difficult road, and high clearance not needed. We're right at this pin, and I'd say it's the best of all the spots. Spacious, pretty flat, no tree cover blocking solar or satellite, and a break in the perimeter trees for the best view. :) Pretty good cell service here with T-Mobile, too. Almost no road noise here from the nearby paved road, and next to zero traffic on the dirt road. We're here a bit off season, so it's just us!

Great spots. We drove on past the top of the hill and down the other side (a little steep on loose gravel and rocks, we made it back up in our promaster but we were scrabbling for grip a little), took a right at the Y in the road to find our spot. Large with room for multiple vehicles. Nice clearing in the trees to not shade our solar panels. Big fire rig although fire ban is in place at the minute. There was a deer at the site when we pulled up and wild Turkeys wandering about the next morning. Would love to know what may have passed us in the night!

Amazing site, quiet, clean, beautiful view. We lucked out and got the 3rd spot up top. Easy access for a van and level. I spotted a 4th spot down below us too so don’t give up if you see the first 3 spots taken.

Quite, lots of level spots. No one is on top of anyone else. Easy drive in. Good Verizon and Tmobile. Enough clear spots to get satellite tv.

You take a gravel road to the right that is labeled 8381C. There are several spots up here and established fire rings. It was so peaceful and had amazing views!

Nice little spot with a fire ring. Was surprised to find that the way in was almost entirely paved. Take Sundance-Warren Peak Rd (all paved) for 5 miles to an unnamed gravel road on the right. The first spot was taken when we got there so we went in to this second spot. Easily got our 22' shuttle bus in and found a level spot. 4-5 bars Tmobile and Google Fi.

Report Check-In

We couldn’t find this exact spot, but we did find a large area nearby, next to a dirt road.
We simply pulled in there and spent one night.

Okay for 1 night.
1 bars LTE service for Verizon. It was slow but doable.

Nice spot for maybe 3 small rvs. Views are nice. Very little traffic on the road. Mostly ORVs. No water or bathrooms but you get water and use bathroom down at the campground you pass while driving in from Sundance. Sundance has a small grocery which is well stocked

Pit toilets at the fire tower, a short drive continuing on Sundance Warren Rd. Lots of pull offs from Sundance Warren with camping. AT&T full bars. Beautiful place.

Report Check-In

There is a state park pit toilet at the fire tower if you continue on Sundance Warren Peak Rd. A number of gravel or dirt road pull offs from Sundance Warren to areas where camping is available.
