Latest Check-Ins

Great campsite, fire pit, bbq, water tap, clean and well functioning ablutions (water is a bit sulphury but hot!) Amazing game drives along the boteti River and into the Bush. We were there for the zebra migration, what a spectacle! Huge numbers spread out along the river which was very low, also wildebeest, elephants, giraffe, ostrich, hippo. We heard lion at night but did not see any. A great stay!

Easy check in. Staff very helpful. Campsite amazing with hot water and flushing toilets

Nice place to stay and explore Makgadigkadi and Boteti. Not at river front, but not far away. Places large, distance between places not large, but still privacy enough. Clean and spacious ablutions. Friendly staff. Lot of game at Boteti, also around the camp, especially at night. Camp is unfenced, so take care. Stayed two nights, could have been longer - next time!

Report Check-In

Primitive unfenced campground with 10 spacious sandy sites and only little privacy. No view of the Boteti River from the camp. Ablutions are very clean. Good H+ Orange-Signal. Too expensive for foreign visitors. 217,50 BWP for SADC-citizens.Quite nice game drive along the Boteti River on relatively deep sandy tracks with Zebra, Elephant, Kudu and Wildebeest in the River.

Ablutions perfect. Unfortunately campsite doesn't overlook the river but still a lovely place to camp. Didn't hear lion at night but plenty tracks around. Zebra herds are absolutely insane. An eye opener & if you haven't witnessed this, take a trip here. Amazing place. 😍

Very friendly gal Kelly from SKL check us is in.

Don't worry about booking, just show up 99% chance you'll be fine, otherwise wold camp across the river in Kamaga for free.
Here is DWPN 🤑
The dive down the Boteti River at sunset was spectacular, we'll worth the effort in getting here.
Kamaga rapidly becoming #2 favorite place we visited, after 3rd Bridge 💕💕💕

All as befor! Nice and clean ablutions chady spots and lots off wildlife at the river, specialy near the hippo pool!

Report Check-In

Reasonable campsite with good, well-maintained ablution blocks. Of course massively overpriced for foreigners, but it is in the park and there are a lot of animals to see just a short drive away.
Beware there were a lot of thick-tailed scorpions running around during the evening when we visited.

We did not book, just turned up and paid on arrival (there is a small SKL office next to the campsite - cash only).

US$50 pppn + 10BWP pppn bed levy + park fees (120BWP pppn & 50BWP per vehicle).

We booked the campground in advance (Sklcamps.com) and we paid USD 50.- pppn. Very expensive for international tourists!
10 campsites with non potable water and a braai. Clean ablution with showers and toilets. The campground is nothing special but drive down to the river and you can see a lot of animals. Especially during the day we‘ve seen elephants, giraffes, zebras, gnus and some others.

Report Check-In

basic campsite but the area along the river is very beautiful. We booked in advance via an bookings agency but pretty sure it is no problem if you just show up at the gate (campsite is whitin the NP).
