Something not right?

Description

Large gravel lot behind Ox Bow Diner (the sign is still on, but it's now a Mexican restaurant) and shared with the former Sinclair station. Huge and flat. Fine for the night. A little noisy at times with big trucks pulling in to also rest, but much more peaceful than a rest stop.
Bliss is a sweet little town with some interesting history.
Original poster had dinner, then stayed in the lot with no troubles, had breakfast there too and hit the road!

Water Spigot located near wooden pavilion/ white historic looking building to the right of the diner. Also water on the back of the building.

Latest Check-Ins

Another very dark, quiet night. The restaurant is now a Mexican family restaurant. There is water at the park and on the back of the building. Only about five 18-wheelers and they were clear down at the other end.

Report Check-In

Big gravel lot. Quite a few truckers use it. There are some driveways to the west end of the lot, so if you arrive in the dark, don't block the driveways - people live in there.

I’m a solo female traveler & didn’t feel comfortable at this spot. Pretty dark & a bunch of tractor trailers tucked in. Moved on down the road to Walmart.

Report Check-In

No water returned from unlocked spigot by bandstand.

Spent a pretty quiet night and half-day here with no issue. We parked off behind and a little to the side of the Oxbow Diner in hopes truckers would give us the space. That worked out well as they tend to congregate nearer the gas station. The parking lot is very level, which was nice too.

Report Check-In

Water Source next to the Oxbow Dinner toward the wooden pavilion and historic looking building.
