It was new and OK with hot showers and bandas and we stayed two nights as we planned to visit the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park for a day trip next day, but we were a bit disappointed the 2nd night (a Sunday) that it was full of overland trucks and some local campers who listened to football and music until late that night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We spend two nights at the campsite with Lucas, our grandson, and really loved that place! Very good restaurant. Nice pool. Very friendly staff.
We loved the nice little dog Mali and her sweet puppies and the goose as well! Heard many hyenas at night.
We paid 1,000 KSH ppn and 750 KSH for our 8 year old boy.
Ok campsite. Not really special. price is a bit high compared with Kikopey Beach Camp which is 20 away.
Hot showers, swimming pool and sometimes there is WiFi.
USD 10 or KSH 1000 pppn. Children USD 5 or KSH 750.
As described excellent camp. There are several ways from the main road, you should take this with the sign.
We took a safari half-day with a Karuma, it was great. 1000 pppn
Spacious, comfortable campsite with electricity & own gazebo with water sink, benches, light. Especially in the weekend there are people coming here to party and evade curfew. They are going to change the setup so camping people and party people don’t get in each others ways. ‘Rasta’ is also a perfect guide for Lake Nakuru NP. Knows a lot and pleasant company. Lots of wildlife in the beautiful park.
Report Check-InA great place to camp near to Lake Nakuru. hot showers, a good restaurant and bar. Peaceful with a lot of bird life and can hear Hyenas at night.
Report Check-InDecent place to camp, hot showers, clean ablutions. Nice bar and restaurant at good prices. 1000ksh pp to camp.
Report Check-InAt the border of northwestern limit of Soysambu conservancy (that is worth a visit). Beautiful calm place with wonderful camping spots, clean well maintained and functional toilets and hot showers. Covered cooking places with running water. The restaurant has good options and a chef that makes them very tasty. Plenty of choices from the bar. Small but beautiful swimming pool that can be very refreshing. Very friendly staff. 1000Kes pppn. Easy access to the east side gates of Nakuru NP
Report Check-Invery new nice clean place. Bandas, Restaurant. hot showers. Overlander parking.
only 3km from tar road.
Very nice place indeed. The rate is 1000 ksh pppn and they don’t have WIFI anymore. The do accept cards, but the machine is not working. “Maybe tomorrow” (-:
Report Check-InLovely camp, great ablutions, good food (bit expensive though) and wonderful staff.
Our time was spoilt by a large corporate event, with the group playing loud music right next to our tent all night, stumbling around our vehicle drunk and repeatedly unplugging our fridge to charge their phones!
Management were very good at rectifying the issues when we complained (e.g. upgrading us to a safari tent far from the party), but it’s a shame they didn’t preempt this or warn us about the event when we booked in to avoid us having to complain at all.
I would come back here but always ask if they have a large group booked in, and if yes try somewhere else!
Camping fee is now Ksh700 pppn.

Absolutely loved this campsite, we have been on the road for 2 months and it was one of the nicest places we have stayed. Camped on grass, ablution blocks spotless, lovely hot showers, staff wonderful and restaurant food very good. Bird life a bonus on top of it all. Loved it.
Very well maintained! Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful setting in a quiet environment.
Report Check-InBig grasfield for truckcamper, clean ablutions and hot shower, very friendly staff, a small pool, two shaded places, one with dishwashing and one only with a water supply, lighted and electricity. The road to the campsite is very rutted.
Report Check-InNice stopover before heading to lake Nakuru. camping is on grass, very chilled. They placed us away from overland truck because of noise. Bathroom is clean with hot showers. Restaurant is nice with extensive menu. No wi-fi. 600 ksh per person.
